Great content and review as always. I have been following you for a couple of years now and just let me say that you are an inspiration for me and i am thinking on doing my own content in KZbin and starting my own reviews since I have a lot backpacks and I just love to go on the field and try them on my trails and, because of that, I have my personal opinions also, that I might have the courage to share one day because of you. I own 3 Hazard 4 backpacks. The Plan B sling pack, the Plan C and the Drawbridge. Being a backpack geek like you, I own also backpacks from 5.11 and Tasmanian Tiger and I can say, by my own experience, that Hazard 4 is, by far, the best brand and the one that is best built and has the best materials but is also one of the most expensive, Despite the costs, for me, Hazard 4 has the best Backpacks military style in the market due mainly to the quality and robustness of the materials. My only issue with the Hazard 4 Backpacks that I own is the lack of interior pockets inside the backpacks. The long inner panels inside, could have some more mesh pockets, like 5.11 backpacks have, to increase more and better storage options and make better use of the interior space. But this is a minor issue and does not affect the rating of this brand that is absolutely excellent. Stay Safe Moorlander

Interesting concept. Starting weight of 5.25 lbs./ 2.3kg is quite heavy. Hopefully, Hazard 4 will take the concept to different applications such as travel or hiking.

The weight definitely doesn't feel as heavy when it's on your back. It's something to think about for sure though. It's a fine balance with expensive camera equipment and keeping it safe, plus with a 30ltr pack you can cram this full of gear so I'm sure the 2.3kg won't feel that heavy when it's full 😃 Thanks for the comment Woody, hope you have a cracking weekend

Single threaded stitching on webbing? How exactly does that scream quality 2U? Looks like overpriced tat masquerading as "high -end" lol. Arcteryx leaf pisses all over it. Lifetime guarantee too, bet that one doesn't. Also it's going to get very dirty very quickly, why is it so bright? May as well be neon yellow coz it sticks out like sore thumb. Motorcycle rucksack also looks much more discreet than lugging that 'suicide-bomber' special 😂. It screams weekend warrior on a mission. I mean at that point U may as well use a second hand pelican case with wheels n' sh!t.

Hey Chinga, hope you're buddy. The camera angle on the stitching wasn't the best. I can assure you these stitching is completely over engineered. The webbing throughout is quadruple bar tacked (hopefully that's the right stitching term 😂). It's incredibly tough. The colour is coyote and can get dirty however the DWR coating on the Cordura helps to get it off. Generally I'll leave dirty to dry and the brush off with a hard clothes brush. I don't mind it though as it adds character. My packs with a 1000d Cordura will accumulated dirty over time as the fibres are so thick. You get that with Leak, TAD Gear, GORUCK and many more. There's a black and urban grey model as well whick look more subdued. Other tactical companies have similar backs for camera and drones however many of them don't have that hardshell. I love the weekend warrior analogy 😂 it's kinda true but also if you're carrying a few grands worth of gear, I'd want to keep it safe. Drones are definitely not cheap. Thanks for commenting buddy.
