6:42 it can still be useful to "throw away" the card while still getting Moxie, if you can spare the time to do that. Usually only when you're stalling the next wave or because you know your other attacks will kill the remaining enemies anyways. This is also useful in general; you can always "throw away" cards if you know your other attacks will kill the remaining enemies and it'll still give you Moxie. Also btw some important, but easy-to-miss strats if you're not used to these type of games, are taught in the "extra" tutorial (the top right of the screen while you're in any story mode chapter). Also, a nice way to simplify when you're thinking about Moxie is that, barring characters' special cards or abilities, you can only get 1 Moxie per action, plus one Moxie per fusing. A little obvious but in case you're still bothering to manually counting it up. Other than that, it's important to know when to conserve cards and when to use them. Conserving cards means that you effective have fewer cards to use each round. Like if you're conserving three Ults, those take up three hand slots, so you only have four cards to actually use. Consider trying to get the second and third Ults later to prevent this from happening. It's also important to know that you have unlimited retries, so you can plan out a strategy that might be very unlikely to happen. Just make sure that it won't take, like, 10 years to actually happen.

Not really a tip per say but something to be wary of. When you use the tuning skill to make the universal merge card, you don't get moxie from the card you merge it with. If however that card merges again to make a 3* you do get moxie

It’s almost absurd how Solo Eternity can boost you to the latest chapters and dailies in the game. As long as rng doesn’t let her ult get silenced or disarmed, or if it’s a stage that doesn’t lock her out of her ult, she will boost your account and you can just prioritize your materials on her and save up the other materials on characters you would want and need to level in the future. If you have her or Bkorn in your account, I highly recommend you max em out pro due to how good their kits are.

I got bkorn and eternity and built them first, didn't realize they would be so good. I actually prefer bkornblume over eternity just because her ult is higher single target damage that wipes bosses and her gun is a quick animation and satisfying. But that will probably change as I continue to build them

And you'll probably fail to progress in Limbo because you need two teams. You can prioritize her for i3 but that's the same for every dps, but you'll need to build another dps and at least i2 lvl 50 your supports to progress.

When you reshuffle the cards, you will get a similar set of cards from the starting hand (one of each Arcanist card and a random one for a team of 3 with support). It will be useful as you can constantly spam your main DPS card on each turn, and help to speed up Moxie gains!

One thing about card placement IN A BATTLE WITH 3 STARTING CHARACTERS: At the start of every battle, or rerolling cards with 'First Melody' tuning (assuming that you don't have any ults in hand) , all 6 cards will appear, with the seventh card (leftmost) being the same as the oldest card (rightmost) this allows for near guarantee starting hand, or manipulating 2 starred cards and reroll to get a free 3 star random card (note that you have to waste a turn to set that up as you can only use tunings as your first move)

I mean: Sonetto will forever be best Disarmer for me until they release a character like her but higher stat. It's because while her Disarm is single target, the fact that you can get them on 2* makes it easy to use and navigate her skills for needs. Disarm also cuts the atk action, which means cuts most enemy's moxie gain. That means delayed ultimate. and we don't have an easy to use Silence char yet. (X's silence is... a little bit quirky). On top of that: she has buffs + her ultimate does decent AOE. Can't ask for more.

To be fair Li An An (the Cantonese speaking girl in the thumbnail) is an upgraded sonetto, although her skill needs 3* to disarm, it also completely silences the enemy so even their ult can’t be used, it’s a reasonable reason to be higher *. I don't know this because of the stage or not but until this time whenever i play. For 9:09 you lose the cards, but it will gain one moxy, but it only count of how much card you use, not how much stars of the card, so its usefull for throwing some cards to gain ultimate card or want other cards

All of what you mentioned here are literally instructed to you at later stages, except for the 'stage restart' for initial draw - which is usually redundant, card discard - which, you just need decent gaming sense to understand that you should not throw your strongest attack on 1hp mobs - and maximum card per round (also redundant since using cards would always be better than just moving cards to pass turns)

I also use Anna Lee and Sotheby. My main DPS is Eternity. I’d like to point out that Solsetto and Anna Lee don’t have Buffs that stack, so having them on the same team is useless. Anna Lee is basically a better Solsetto in every aspect. Daze is better than Disarm.

Combat, characters, story are nice but the mid-game leveling is horrible. (maybe same for endgame). After ascension 2 (out of 3) materials get incredibly scarce, and everything that isn’t character & weapon levels (weapon ascension, psycube, resonate, character insight/ascension) requires RNG. It’s like farming specters and handguards, except fighting one nobushi requires 1.8hrs of energy/resin, but even worse-stages don’t have tier1 and tier2 materials together. (Imagine farming for the blue handguards, but killing nobushi gives you green specter mats instead, so you can’t even craft. Or you can choose to fight level 1 easy nobushi, which guarantees the lower level grey handguards, but you need 10x more battles to craft). Also the newest event seems to cost energy like 1.0 Genshin.

1. Unlike Genshin's grind system, most other gacha games tend to be grindy with regards to materials. With the lack of a substat system, there still needs to be some way to slow the player down, and that is done by shitty drop rates. Examples of this include Arknights, P:GR, and Guardian Tales. Consider it a sacrifice for no longer dealing with substat hell. Note also that equipment (or weapons) are also grindable, and as anyone who's suffered through HI3's weapon system knows, if it is grindable, it will be grindy. 2. While it is true that the newest event costs stamina, you need to consider the context that the event is situated in. 1.0 Genshin's event was marketed as a "main event" for the patch, yet its cost is quite steep for what you get, which was the main complaint against it. In addition, Genshin has gameplay outside its stamina system by virtue of its open world nature. In contrast, most other gacha games are locked behind the stamina system, with a few exceptions (Arknights' Integrated Strategies, P:GR's guild battle + weekly boss fights, etc.) It is not rare for events to use stamina, and often these events will have rewards equal or maybe slightly exceeding the value of the stamina used. In a sense, events are usually ways to be more efficient in gathering materials to build your characters. In addition, the current event is also meant to serve as a transition to 1.1, so that may lead to it being more "boring" then usual. Your main complaints stem from a lack of knowledge in the gacha game genre. Unfortunately, Genshin is not the gacha game standard at all, and the fact that it got so popular unfortunately means that people have a distorted view of what Gacha games are supposed to do. They aren't main games, they're games you pick up, have a few rounds, then leave when your bus reaches your stop. This disconnect from expectations means that a lot of people will complain and call the game "trash", when in reality, it's the entire gacha game genre that is trash. Its just trash that we've learned to live with, such that despite these limitations we can still be transported into another world, be it Kivotos or Teyvat, or even a Post-Apocalyptic world. We are given the form, the grind, the charwcters, the gameplay, and we make something out of it, an experience we call our own. And through the missed pulls and the failed attempts of pulling characters, we still smile and say, "it was fun." Sometimes, that's enough.
