i'm pretty sure they nerfed the trailblaze quest to speed up progress for newer players, since penacony is around the corner. people will need less time to grind for characters and equilibrium levels to catch up on the main story.

I guess that goes along with them reducing the AR requirement to get to Inazuma in _Genshin_ . But I don't think it's necessary in this case, as long as they only lowered the TL requirement. It's kinda sad they've also reduced monster levels throughout. It's not like they were particularly difficult in the first place, right?

@@BNuts I speedran the quests before the nerf as a newbie to the game, and though some situations were tricky (mostly due to me not paying attention), I don't think there was anything I couldn't beat first try. BUT I did see people complaining on the hoyolabs about being stuck on certain bosses and not daring to up their world level because they're scared of mobs, etc. So I think in some ways, the level nerf is also warranted. They probably don't want new players (who may not be that experienced with turn based games) to get stuck, miss out on events, and eventually leave.

@@BNuts There were plenty of ppl having troubles with some of the story bosses. I didn't have a particularly hard time, but that doesn't mean that nobody else had. All in all, this is a good change for this type of game, imo. Let's newer players play more at their own pace.

Going to be honest: I am both mad and amazed that you beat the deer so fast, as this was my first and only roadblock and I thought it was going to be much more of a hassle. But at the same time, when I got to the deer, I was in full story player only mode and had only characters with at best artefact set bonuses, so at least compared to one well built Blazer-dono it was understandable that I had to upgrade my team before beating it

I'm glad im not the only one who noticed the phantom chest noises on the Loufu. I think even completing the Compass puzzle still doesn't make the chime go away because I cleared all of those almost instantly because I found them so fun and I have still heard a bunch of the phantom chest chimes.

9:42 Now, this makes me wonder: Can you theoretically one-shot the deer's phase with enough farming? Do you need to progress the Luofu story to increase equilibrium? Can you theoretically farm a lot of Crit Damage from relics, and retry the fight with a low crit rate over and over until your ult crits and one-shots? How will the game handle if you do end up one-shotting the phase? Not to mention that was without supports. Imagine this damage with Bronya, Pela and Tingyiun.

Damn, im happy we didn't need to wait that long for a new episode. I think theres a good chance Phantilia poses a challenge, but if not, the new storyline certainly will. By how Hoyo balanced their games, this story nerf was so the new region can scale it back up, and we with it comming, im excited to see how Blazer-domo can deal with it

Raising your equilibrium level would actually increase the challenge significantly Just keep Blazer-Dono at a relatively low level so the bosses actually feel more like a threat. It's an artificial raise yeah but it basically puts you in a simulated pre nerf environment. Otherwise really great video. Looking forward to seeing Blazer Dono's future escapades!

Hw will def need for the new region coming up in 2.0. and Phantalia might be a problem soon enough. Also, doesn't not raising equilibrium level limits his character level and weapon? If so, he will sometime need to raise it to get farther in the games content, like S.U. or maybe low MoC if he can do it

1)New Paths for the Trailblazer are unlocked after certain story Quests, so you need to progress through Penacony to get a new path 2)The next path is most likely Harmony, so it should deal the least damage out of 3, so the most useless to solo Trailblazer

For Star Rail, I just like the male design more. For Genshin, it's because the female Traveler is unfortunately slower and also cannot jump as far (so she can't bunny hop). Movement is pretty key in an action game, so I opted for the more agile character.
