16:57 portable waypoint wasn't mandatory. just grab pyro from the flower, hit the fungi out of the cave towards the seal, burst the fungi with pyro to the fungi near the last seal and then skill the pyro onto the seal.

I'm actually really disappointed that we didn't unlock an optional rematch against Marana without Arama's support. Would've been pretty interesting. But miHoYo not doing exactly that implies to me that the boss is too heavily scripted to be fought normally, and that the things it does by default don't amount to any kind of relevant challenge.

Like the tumor in Sakura Cleansing Ritual, it is very scripted. But it for sure would be awesome to have a hard mode for every boss, including this one. The recent Hypostatic Symphony was a step in the right direction. I hope to see more like that, but even more creative and with co-op.

I think it's a bit of laziness on their parts. There's several sections of or even entire boss fights missing the ability to be replayable. Stormterror's first section, Beisht, the original Raiden Shogun fight, and so on. Damned annoying.

I mean, all those quests have different markers for when they can be opened, so that only makes sense. You can actually reach the chest room really early on, the aranara there talk about how they become ready to be opened as you help other aranara

That harpastum proves more useful day by day, anemo flowers, boss weak spots and now elemental plants I also heard boom blossoms referred to as melons somewhere but I can’t remember Albedo mentions boom blossoms in a dialogue too I think I also wish some bosses had more environmental stuff especially since their adding new barrels all the time like the new electro ones with Sumeru 22:40 just casually clowning the embodiment of death These videos are ever impressive as always, the lengths you go to break this game is truly insane and most of the time I have no idea how you figure these things out Edit: Oh and I finally managed to solo Scaramouche with Qiqi, it turns out the trick is incredible patience because the turrets hit box can barely reached by her making it incredibly difficult, I made a video on it recently, that also makes it a sort of traveler-san esc thing.. hmm maybe Qiqi-sama yes haha

I remember avoiding using dendro mc by inflicting dendro on myself via mushrooms + waypoints, and then self applying hydro via barbara, getting a bloom reaction which did dendro

Oh loloolol So, while just normally adventuring via teleports, I ended up being put under the initial map for the domain to the west of Old Aranara(The area) you were in. Didn't think much of it until I noticed there was a far off arena. Seeing the far off model in this video confirmed what I found was this boss fight's arena. And no, I didn't attempt to glide over to it.

Tested that out before, but unfortunately, it doesn't supply Pyro. I believe you can put Geo Constructs on it, though. So who knows? Maybe that'll prove useful at some point.
