I worked 6 seasons as the Assistant Forest Ranger at cedar river headquarters. It's like heaven on earth there. August and September are the best time to camp. The bugs are a bit less active then. Lovely video. Thanks for sharing.

Robert that is awesome. We definitely enjoyed the area, minus the bugs. Good to know that August and September are better months to visit. Thank you for watching our video!!

So sorry for your loss -- they become one of the family and it's hard to get over. Always remember though the joy they brought you while they were here and that will always bring a smile. Enjoyed the video!

Yep......have camped and hunted there a number of times years ago. Always in Sept, early bear season. Beautiful country. Sorry about your dog. We just lost our pet too of 14 years. Always tough.

It is a beautiful area but we were surrounded by the black flies. Yes you definitely learn your lesson on when the best time to go is.

That's when I'm usually back there but only for day trips and because it's absolutely the best time to catch some nice brookies. Long sleeves, long pants and lots of DEET. LOL!

Do you need a camping permit to camp in MRP?
@ourlittlecamperadventures Жыл бұрын
