Nopixel pushed the grind when they took away whitelist jobs. It used to be if you did good roleplay you was rewarded by owning a buisness which meant u didn't have to be a grinder and could spend more time on roleplay since you have buisness to roleplay or passive income so u didn't need to grind. Taking away whitelist jobs and making everything achievable through grinding a job is what causes the issues. Making everything invite only doesent fix the grinding issues when it wasent caused by players it was caused by management of the server and what they pushed for it to be like... The fix for nopixel is to fix there management and what they do with the server and direction of the server not who plays on it. Just look at the people who cause the most drama and issues on the server, was it the grinders or was it the streamers and there big ego's? Why do cops on prodigy have less of an issue taking an L than cops on nopixel? Because less streamers trying to impress viewers. So does leaving out the nobodies and only having streamers and stuff fix any of the issues as far as the drama goes? Nope. It doesent fix grinding and it doesent fix the drama so what is the point?

i think K shotz garret and ramee will be fine if they dont return before 5.0, but the lower ranking member of CG might not be able to return at all if they dont. theres alot of people still grinding on nopixel and overlooking them for someone who left the server when it downbad just doesnt sit right.

It'd be nice to have other servers you can chill on, but i hope CG will mainly stay on prodigy and grow its community, coz at least there, most, if not all, roleplayers aren't prejudiced with how they interact with them.

There isn’t enough out there about 5.0 to really have an opinion. Is the invite only period streaming? Is the invite only period a beta test? It really feels like they announced 5.0 to take heat off of the MoonMoon announcement. Nothing was going on at TwitchCon that was drama. 4.0 is dragging right now but wouldn’t you want to announce after TwitchCon to get more eyes on it? I don’t know, I just feel like this shit got blitzed out without any good reasoning or like a statement about what people should expect.

Nopixel needs someone who will do what Ravage is doing with Prodigy. Keeping it in check. The admins have shown they are not capable of this on nopixel. Koil is so burnt out with the server so he wont do it, xQc will definitely not do it, and Buddha is focused on the development side of things. So, there is no wonder things got as bad as they have. I would say that they need to hire someone to do it, but I think the reason Ravage has done such an awesome job is because he has a stake in the server. Not as an owner anymore, but as the person running the show and it basically being a project he built to where it is. Without some major changes to the people managing the server, it will only be a matter of time before things return to being in a terrible state. The big difference now is that Prodigy has shown some of them that they are more than just a server they can play at for a little while. It is a server RPers can make their home. Kebun said in one of his videos "we will check it out", referring to nopixel 5.0 which can be taken to mean they are haply where they are, but will check out nopixel and come back to Prodigy when the new shinny fling wears off.

It’s nice they want that level and that precedent but when Buddha Himself has some terrible people in his Cypress group that aren’t of that high standard how is anyone actually going to believe they are capable of that? To me they have zero vision, zero leadership, and what little vision they have is all flavor of the month. They need proper game design and leadership which is what they are lacking. Without question in the beauty side of things and some idea side of things Nopixel is amazing…but the way they implement those ideas half-cocked has always and will always hold them back. It’s doing a poor job of facilitating the rp. Add to that the cliche’s that have had power and been in charge makes the server collapse.

Hopefully No Pixel is truly going to try to change up the community. First change that is needed is keeping CG’s toxic community far away. Let them stay where they enjoy, Prodigy. 2nd thing is to keep the sweatlords like Hades and Hydra away. Those gangs just look to speed run everything. After that, figure out what type of police force they want. They changed the directions 10x over.
