Brainbox thank you! That's my old 1965 Rogers Powertone snare, just tuned really low with an Evans Genera Dry head on it. It has quite of bit of compression on it too, to get that fat attack.

It's really impressive! How long did it take to produce this track?

Diego Fecchio Thank you! It probably took me longer to edit the video than it did to make the track! I hate editing video, which is probably why I don't put them out more frequently. I work fast in the studio though! It took maybe four hours. There's drums, guitar, Moog bass, Moog lead, Rhodes, strings, 6 tracks of vocals, 4 tracks of claps, and that's maybe it.

mootbooxle Four hours??? but the choice of right sounds and the decoding of the original arrangement? the recording of the fill in - out - stop of drums? have recorded note by note or have u used something semiautomatic?

Diego Fecchio I'm primarily a drummer, believe it or not, so that was the easy part! It's all acoustic drums. I guess you could say I've been dissecting this track for years! Learning the guitar part and figuring out the bg vocal arrangement were the hardest. I don't think I completely sang the same notes as on the original, but I tried to at least make it have the same sort of texture and feeling.
