MOP Remix Sending Bronze to Alts/Friends

A quick guide on how you can send Bronze to your alts or friends.
The Gems in MOP remix are tradable allowing players to give them to other players! This can be used to send bronze to alts, the best gems to use are the Legendary ranked ones as they break down for the maximum amount of Bronze.
Step 1: Buy the [Asynchronized Prismatic Gem] boxes from the blood elf vendour named Lidamorrutu, they can be found at the Infinite Bazaars. If you already have a ton of gems you can skip this step.
Step 2: Convert the gems to the Highest rank you can by combining them (it takes 3 of the same rank to make 1 higher rank gem) E.g 3x Uncommon = 1 Common gem.
Step 3: Trade the gems to a friend/ trused buddy who will then trade them to your alt.
Step 4: Scrap the gems on your alt using the Unraveling Sands.
The exchange rate from Bronze to [Asynchronized Prismatic Gem] is not great! You will gain less Bronze than the ammount that was spent! The best option is to farm gems from dungeons/raids/open world content and use them!

I appreciate the feedback! Yes the Asynchronized Prismatic Gem’s are an awful conversion rate to gain Bronze and in the video description I do mention that farming heroic dungeons is a much more efficient way to gain gems.

People don't talk about this because it's 200 bronze for 1 chipped gem. You need 27 chipped gems to make 1 legendary gem. So you have to spend 5400 bronze to get about 200 on another character. That is a horrible conversion rate.

yeah.. and everything you can buy other than gear ilvl is account bound cosmetics so... just spend them

its the only way, so if youll never use it on an alt, the only downside is the insane time commitment required.

This method was more for people who have got that bronze to dump. The dropped gems still work well though! If you are regularly raiding you will get plenty to trade to an alt.

Not to mention the time to open the orange containing the chipped gem and to convert them to at least epic, then DE-ing them ...

Great idea for sending to friends, but as others have said, buying the gems to send isn't really a good idea. The best way is to farm them in dungeons on the strongest character then sending them.

No point in this... A drop in the bucket when you need in the thousands to upgrade a single piece of armor.

I found it kind of pointless to send bronze to alts, since what we aim most to spend with bronze on are cosmetics, toys, and mounts which are account bound. So I prefer to fast lvl the alts using the trial account trick to get bronze OR just play the main char on remix and grind the bronze. While you grind bronze, you also get threads.. my normal grind routine from mobs are around 280-300 threads and around 440-480 bronze per 3 minutes. Unless you want to spend upgrades on your alts, then its a different story.

yea ive grinded all the cosmetics with leveling alts, but now im just waiting on bones of manneroth, so its a good investment to just upgrade gear to get invs to heroic rather than wasting so much time in normal

Yes! I totally get that, the cosmetic side is pointless. But for the ilvl upgrades it’s worth moving gems across. It’s just frustrating that blizzard haven’t made any attempts to make it easier for us to move bronze to alts for item upgrades. I’ve been using trial accounts to farm bronze for mounts/cosmetics and selling gems I don’t need to gain even more bronze. Unholy DKs seem one of the best classes at the moment for tagging packs in HC dungeon farms.

Yep XD HC Dungeon farming is waaaaaaay better for it. In hind sight i probably should have lead more with that.
