I like your video. To the point! When I was a punk kid in the 80's working as an apprentice at a local Dodge Dealership, I was taught by old school mopar mechanics on how to replace the lower control arm bushing. They used a special designed air chisel (they bought me one and I still have it) that allowed me to slice that bushing in half without damaging anything. They also showed me how to press the new one in. I got so good I could do both sides under 2 hours. Regardless, they still are a bitch!!! I just bought a PST kit to replace mine 1966 B-Body's bushings and it came with a plate that welds both halves of the lower control arm together. They say it reduces twisting. I haven't installed it yet. I like your idea of replacing the whole upper control arm already assembled. Those can be difficult to remove the ball joint and easily can damage the control arm so lightly causing alignment problems. Anyway you slice it, mopar front ends( if the car a daily driver) needs new front ends every ten years.

I have heard that PST sells the rubber bushing separate from the outer shell (the hard part to remove) so you can leave the old shell pressed in and just put the new rubber into it. If that’s true it would save a bunch of work.

Don't you know cursing helps break everything loose? Definitely a proper mechanic's best friend.
