Yes, but there is another way to get it and it is by LUCK! It is 1/1000. So instead of getting apex kills you get KD instantly at 10m XP

I thought that you get King Dragon when you upgrade from Black Dragon (40 M Xp) not by luck but ok

There are 2 way to get KD: 1) by luck, instead of getting Black Dragon you get instantly King Dragon but you need lots of luck! It's 1/1000 2)farming all apex, it means killing all animals who have 1m xp, 5m xp and bd once
