MOR VABONARE II A tribute to Rabindra Nritya

Mor Vabonare was performed by Atlanta Nritya Academy at the IACA Rhythms of India show. This dance is a tribute to the beautiful dance form of Rabindra Nritya, which hails from the state of West Bengal and was created by the great Rabindra Nath Tagore.
Atlanta Nritya Academy is a premier Bharatanatyam school in Georgia and is run by Sudakshina Mukherjee. Sudakshina is primarily trained in Bharatnatyam, but she has also learned Kathak, contemporary, and Rabindra
Nritya. She started Atlanta Nritya Academy six years ago in her garage with five students, and today that same school has gone to be featured as finalists on Dance USA Dance on Zee TV, which was judged by
Saroj Khan. And recently they have gone on to win 1st place in both the adult and kids group in Dance Fever, judged by Geeta Kapoor.
ANA provides classes for Bharatnatyam, Rabindra Nritya, and Indian Contemporary.
