My review of the Mora Craftline Robust, a knife similar to the Mora 511 Basic, but with a thicker and wider blade. (They use a High Carbon Steel that is the EU equivalent of 1095). At $15 this knife offers excellent value, it is light and easy to carry and excels at slicing and woodwork.

Great review of my absolute favorite mora. I've been packing one of these around for about four years, and I use it mostly for work and sometimes for hunting and camping. I have beaten the ever-loving piss out of this knife, and it just keeps coming back for more. One of my favorite fixed blades by far, and the fact that it's so affordable is a big bonus. Cheers, buddy.

I like that knife. I was watching you throwing some machetes in old videos from 6 years ago. Now that you are a fitness enthusiasts I would love to see some blades fly. Great way to see strength translated in flying steel. Big fan of all the reviews past and present.

Thanks, bro! I've made quite a few homemade throwing knives lately (using my Dremel 4000), so I will definitely have a video coming soon, showing me throwing all of them.

Easier to do than describe. I belt sand the finger guard down to about 3/16" and round it off. Sand/Remove the hook bill at the pommel, again round it off smooth. It gets in the way, especially when doing chest pull cuts. Cut the rubber down to the plastic on the top/spine and belly, to create flat spots on both, between the "notches" in the rubber. Leave the rubber in front of the "notch" in handle at blade and at pommel. The goal is to make it more "squared" off on top and bottom "only". Leave as much rubber as you wish. I use "work sharp" fine grit to slowly clean it up. This knife is basically indestructible. - See DBK Dutch Bushcraft Knives KZbin. My hand is a bit to wide for these handles. I do the same for all the Mora line with rubber over mold on plastic. It may not be pretty. But, I think better grip and more versatile. It's a $15 knife. No worries if you jack it up.
@WeAllJuggleKnives3 жыл бұрын
I might cut the guard off now that I've reviewed it stock, I've seen some vids where people modified it for bushcraft and it looks really good after it is sanded down.

@@WeAllJuggleKnives I ended up with both of them in hand and one point due to amazon messing up, the carbon was by far the sexier knife, but I was concerned about rust so I opted to keep the SS and return the CS.

What is the purpose of the protrusion on the front of the sheath? It looks like it would lock in the slot in he belt hanger of a craftline, but I'm not sure why.

I've never been a fan of mora. I don't like the edge it doesn't hold up. Your looking like you've put on some muscle. All I've put on is weight. Have you tried BPS I have the adventurer. It is my favorite outdoor knife right now. Amazing sheath very good comfortable handle. I enjoy your reviews I might be biased because I like fellow escrima kali people, And I'm lefthanded also. So that puts you as my favorite reviewer. One last how about your favorite machete/ sword I know you've did it before. I'm wondering what has held up which you never use. What is the least expected but most useful. I really have this love affair with choppers. So far my best most used kabar cutless, an GGK sirupate how has the GGK held up would you buy again. I know lots of questions stay safe brother.
@WeAllJuggleKnives3 жыл бұрын
Hey all biases towards me are encouraged :] I have the BPS HK5 and I'm probably going to pick up the BS3FTS, it looks good and price is right. I prefer shorter swords, as I'm not that tall, and also swords that are easy to thrust with in close quarters like my Hanwei Iga Ninja-To, Cold Steel Small Sword, and Longquan Jian. Marbles has 2 cutlass/saber looking machetes you should check out, they're about $25 in the US, well worth it.

This was the first Scandi grind I got. Had no idea what one was. I made lots of mistakes with this knife and it was pretty forgiving. Would definitely recommend as a beginner's knife, the steel is more than good enough for you to get good at skills and sharpening, not get discouraged trying to learn on not so good steel.

I don t know the xercices that you do for chest but they seems to be very effective if you have some advice to give well I am all ears By the way mora robust always a good choice I would like their take on a budget bâton specific knife after they made the garberg otherwise I buy a skrama from varusteleka
