It chops as good as an ax...maybe better. I use mine at work to make trails and roads through fairly dense riparian woodlands. I have cut down trees 10in dia with no problem.

I'm wearing one as a neck knife with some 850 paracord. I have been collecting knives for about 10 years and this is the first time I've ever worn a neck knife. I love this little blade it's the perfect size small knife. If you think it's sharp out of the box just run it over a leather strop and you could peel an old tomato. Cheers from Canada.

That thing's badass! I've been shooting a little 'Cometa-5 .22cal Made in Spain' break barrel, I doubt it can even shoot through one can of spam (540fps, so if the can is empty, maybe? lol) but very lightweight, easy to use and fun

$68! That's a steal, a couple of tins of cheap pellets, Crosmans or whatever and maybe an improvised sling for hours of fun plinking and hunting small game. I bought a Beeman 1210 Hound 22cal with thumbhole wood stock for £100

I have one of these with the two barrels. The scope fell apart within the first week, there was so much oil in the cylinder it was dieseling and sending the .177 supersonic. The breech face was so rough it was chewing up the seal. I changed the scope for a better one but this also got destroyed pretty quickly and knocked the arrestor block off. I cleaned the breech face up and solved the problem with the seal and now the excess oil has burned up and with another scope on, which was a replacement on warranty for the second one it's actually shooting well now but for me it's a little too big and heavy.

Great locks, won't close on fingers. Not that we ever put pressure on the top of the blade that would force it to close, anyway, but the lock is a sales point, even if it fixes a problem that wasn't there in the first place. Now, moving on, lay the open knife on it's side on the table, with the blade extending past the edge of the table. Now apply progressive weight to the blade and see how fast the joint (or steel?) fails!! Much of the time it is in use, there is lateral pressure on the blade but no one seems to test and quantify the results of that one. Not on any knives is this tested. Why not?

I have two Cold Steel Templar throwing axes for over 2 years and after having thrown them thousands of times. Hit boulders,concrete,brick,steel' hundreds of times with immense force and they are in flawless working condition with minimal once a week at most Diamond honeblock them right back to new. Unrivaled durability & functionality. Kudos 👏 I have since then designed and handmade two separate hurlbats. So I have 4 hurlbats that I challenge myself daily with 10 solid stickers each daily @ 20' & 40' increments. The distance doesnt truly matter. I have to say that I've completely quit using all of my hatchets, knives, stars, torpedo, spike etc etc.. Because nothing else even compares in any meaningful way to hucknhurlbats IMO. You will need to invest in as many thickest possible solid slabs or rounds of lumber in order to construct a well built long lasting throwing target/post/block/stand/station.

Is it good for raccoons?
@WeAllJuggleKnives6 күн бұрын
Technically it could kill a raccoon, but I would prefer something more powerful, check out Hatsan 130 and 135 in .30 caliber. - those will produce 30-34 Foot Pounds of Energy, which is top of the spectrum for affordable break barrels.

If done right DC53 is way better than 1095CV. I have a small Eafengrow fixed blade with DC53 & it reminds me of 3V.
@WeAllJuggleKnives6 күн бұрын
Definitely. Not to ruffle feathers, but truth is, DC53 is an upgrade to the steel on that kabar. Even good old 5160 would have been better for the Kabar.
