I admire the lands of Guyana unspoiled, 80% uninhabited rainforest$. Guyana’s wealth which goes beyond oil, gold and manufactured good$, Guyana has plenty fresh water, natural wildlife, oxygen generating forest(80% untouched Amazon forest) Thank you for the Journey into Guyana’s untouched Amazon forest priceless natural real estate.

Danny its 96 miles up the Mahaicony Creek but there are shorter ways in - # 1 by Helicopter, # thru the Burma Road to Mora Point # 3 Across from St. Cuthbert"s Mission and # 4 from Millie's Hideout Trail up the Highway straight across thru the Savannah over Mahaica River head to St. Francis mission but on this trail you have to get a guide to take you across because there many cross trails in the Savannah - good for hunters and site seeing. Beautiful back there with four wheel drive. From what you have shown us Moraikobai is a wonderful Village , updated with many amenities. Thanks for the Video how bright the Village is from the 60's. Our Govt. is going great guns to improve the living conditions in every place in this small and beauiful Country. I feel good when I saw the improvements going on at the moment. Sorry I am not there to take part Go President Ali, VP Jagdeo and all Ministers involved. Thank you! Move them off the Roadway Min. Edghill. These are a nuisance and the public is taking up the roadway little by little. You want to keep the place clean of encumberances. Thats the way to do it.

lived here in 1993 for a year when my dad was the headmaster for the school, people sometimes used to preserve meat and butter by putting it in a plastic bag and tying a rope on the bag and dropping it in the creek, the cold water would preserve it, one Saturday my dad went to wash clothes by the creek and me and my 2 brothers were swimming having fun and my father said to us, you should enjoy this time because when we leave here you will miss it, oh how right he was, So many years come and gone And yet the memory is strong.

That orange house with the Benab is at first Savanna belongs to Uncle Jankie and his family. They are old family friends of ours. I used to spend school holidays there in the 60’s to mid 70’s. Most of them left for Australia in the 70’s and 80’s. The house was rebuilt I think in the 80’s. I left the country in the mids 70’s I have not returned to visit the creek since the mid 70’s.

What are you waiting for! Go man go, its still there and beautiful than before. A place to relax and put away your worries. The scenery is great. Makes you wonder if it still exists, when thinking about the great cities in the world. Don't mention the word creek, just say happiness.

Danny you’re truly a blessing and an Ambassador to Guyana’s future development. Seeing that Guyana is in a transformation state all is left now to be seen what part the Government would play in assisting the Indigenous people. Guyana’s the Venice of the Caribbean. I intuitively see Georgetown becoming like Italy. Slowly and surely. Danny you’re a light House for Guyana and and it’s people.

I didn't know this place existed. I was born in Mahaicony River. As a little girl I went to St. Francis mission at the end of the river. The river was so shallow there we were able to walk across. Water was clear, swift moving and cold. Only Amerindians lived there. I am wondering if this place is before you get to the mission? My brother still lives in Mahaicony River. Lots of rice is farmed there. My father and my mother's family were all rice farmers.
