That was very lucky that you arrived at the right time and got to drive up to Moraine Lake. We were staying in Lake Louise last year and only got to drive up on our second day because the road was closed quite early in the morning on the first and second day. That parking lot fills up by 7 a.m. We returned late afternoon after an early dinner just in time for them to open the road up. The view is worth it 👌 😍
