As a finn I read Ö as the vowel in 'learn' and everytime you say it o I'm surprised lol

Hahah you're definitely not the first person to make that connection. My reasoning behind it was that - as a symbol I've always thought of Ö as resembling like a proto-emoji of sorts. And being that the citizens in the universe have the belief that their goddess has brought about all of creation through song - I thought that a really succinct way to encapsulate that would be to represent her with the symbol of Ö as it kind of looks like face singing hahah. I did a bit of research after the fact and learned about the real-world pronunciation and usage of it so I do apologise for the confusion!

Not to meatride but this is brilliant! You already bought me with the previous videos but this is just too much. Not only is this a multi-medium project that you're doing mostly all by yourself, and at a professional level at that, but you're not selling off on originality and conceptual cohesion and depth. It's really palpable that your creative vision is fundamentally coherent and carefully thought-out. Honestly I'm kinda jealous, I wish I could implement such plastic competency on top of my writing. Without minimizing all the work and effort you obviously put into it, I believe that's what we call creative genius, something I've rarely seen Edit: btw, if the creatures of the outer/last register are those who are the most in tune with Mother Ö's power and will, is it because this register is somehow "closest" to the Syphera shell of the Macrocosm?

Thank you for becoming so engaged. It’s so immensely humbling to hear such a thoughtful and supportive response. In fairness the whole project began as a love note of sorts to the universe itself. I sought to try and reflect upon and express some of that underlying (possibly esoteric) unity that I feel permeates our lives. I’d be dubious about classifying myself as a creative genius but that is a most generous and humbling sentiment. I just appreciate that something I do brings some level of enjoyment or pleasure to you. And yes I was kind of thinking that they would be “closest” or originate from the edges of her Syphera and therefore they have a more direct exposure to the energy of the ethereal weave as they are not so sheltered by the internal registers. I kind of thought of the centre and the Equilius as basically being like a black hole that builds up from the “pressure” of the other outer registers of the wheel. P.s. again thank you so very much for your comment, this has completely made my day and I am so very grateful for your sincerity.

Very interesting breakdown! Do the Equallis use song or sound vibration to shift worlds by shifting frequency? This is similar in my game concept but mine isn't quite a perfectly structured circle.

Thanks for asking! I was actually picturing that the Equilius would either harness the frequencies of Ö in a harmonic way that causes the salvation of sentient life or it becomes a catalyst for dissonance or black hole void like silence if he/she chooses to destroy the world

Yes indeed! It’s common in a lot of Germanic/ Scandinavian languages isn’t it? My reasoning was just because I wanted something simple that looked like a person singing, because the people believe that their god has sung everything into existence haha

I’d love to know more about your creative process! How did you get from philosophical ideas to a philosophical magic system? What iterations did you go through to get to this system?

Well when I came up with this I was actually studying art(sculpture, art history) and philosophy - specialising in metaphysics and philosophy of religion. So I was kind of consolidating and reflecting a lot of what I was learning about world mythologies and cosmologies and it kind of naturally arose from that. Also I was trying to account for the presence of morality. As its something we kind of take for granted as "civilised" people but it was and is still debated very vigorously by philosophers and scientists alike. There are definite influences from buddhism and hinduism because I personally really like their cosmological chronologies and constitution. But honestly, it was just toying with ideas in my brain when I was daydreaming in lectures or while at work.
