Morang Pool and Waterfall - Trinidad and Tobago

This is an easy hike for beginners and to do as a family event. Journeying into the hills of Maracas St Joseph you drive to the end of San Pedro Road. Parking at the end of the road close to a bar, you follow a road or trail that is maintained by Water and Sewage Authority to to the pool.
From there you can then hike over the hill to the waterfall or if you are the ore adventurous kind, swim across the pool, climb over the rocks and follow the river to a small waterfall and then over some rocks again to the larger waterfall.
Even though the hike is easy and could be done by children you should go in a large group and perhaps with an experience guide. The pool is somewhat deep allowing for jumping in it, so if you can swim a life jacket is recommended.
