@@josephokoror998 IUD is intrauterine device . it is a contraceptive device in a t shape form used to block the uterus so that the seamen will not penetrate during intercourse. It can last up to 8 yrs, and you can get it at any plan parenthood or family planning unit of general hospitals, if you are in Nigeria. I hope this helps.

IUD is great, doesn't contribute to weight gain and one can conceive as soon as the week you have it removed. Had mine first one 15yrs ago after my first baby, have removed it twice to have two more babies. My present IUD will serve me till menopause by God's grace.
