Let me clear up a few things. During this era, Pete used DDRUM triggers and modules exclusively. It is very apparent in this recording. All the drums are most probably triggered. With that said, I have seen MA when Pete was in the band still and except for the kick, the whole kit was mic'd up. Regardless of triggers, he plays fine without them. In regards to acoustic or electric sound drums for DM, I couldn't give a shit.

Put yourself in the mindset of anyone who came to listen to this song and think: "Is some random person Bible-ing at me likely to change my mind or just seem preachy, out-of-touch, unwelcome, and tedious?" Alternately, if someone of another religion said this sort of thing to you, is it likely to change your mind? That's the thing about "do unto others as you would have others do unto you"

@@suchandanghoshlazarus6189 yeah you see, you've not listening though You're assuming what I'm saying is "blah blah I don't believe in God" and so you're just saying more "believe in God!!! Jesus loves you!!1" You're going to some random death metal page (not even one of the "hail Satan" or "God is a lie" ones--you'd want "At One With Nothing" for that from this album, btw) and being Ned Flanders at random strangers. It doesn't convince *anyone*, if anything it associates Jesus with being annoying, ignorant, and preachy. It might shock you to learn I'm not against you, and in fact I am trying to help you succeed in talking about your religious beliefs with receptive people and appealing to their hearts and minds. But just like you wouldn't barge into a stranger's home with dirty feet and start talking their ear off, you wouldn't go to a death metal concert and just accost strangers trying to listen to music and preach at them in the mosh pit. It's not only a waste of time, but a counterproductive one that pushes people away rather than attracting them.
