Machine ! A question for you pal. In the second solo (rutan) do you use a harmonizer ? Phaser? I love that solo. Its very nostalgic for me

There's no phaser and no harmonizer in the 2nd solo. This solo is actually played twice and panned left / right and at the end of the solo I've played different licks to have that harmonisation

This MA song has my favourite Rutan solo for sure! As for that HE song, I'm not sure, I've not planned to cover it, HE isn't a band I want to cover, but who knows, maybe one day I'll consider doing it ;)

as always !!!! superb !!! cheers Patrick. I got Marshall combo 4501. After testing, the main metal tone from this combo is not sop good but I blended it with rat distortion and the sound is amazing..

@@patrikbnvn2847 yes without rat unit marshall jcm 900 alone is not everything. Many people thinking that Marshall making all sound :)

@@patrikbnvn2847 exactly. Im interesting how is your settings. If you want I have some close photos from Trey rig because I have a friend who was MA guitar tech in Eu tour in 2013..It is interesting in Formulas ERa Trey had different setting in his rat but he used RANE QQ

@@satarello My settings for the Rat are distortion 10 o'clock, filter 9 o'clock and volume max. And for the JCM900 I use the channel A with gain at max, bass 7, middle 5, treble 4 and presence 6. Yeah he used a Rane EQ just after the Rat to add gain with all frequencies flat. I also use an EQ between the Rat and the Marshall, the boss GE7 works perfectly.
