Such vast and powerful soundscapes. It's relaxing and sinister at the same time. Awesome

HOLY SHIT! this is exactly the module I have been looking for!

It’s interesting how quiet this release was, but it’s the Legio firmware that has me buying one.

Wow, once again you are on the forefront to get us excited upon unheard soundscapes. Good I have a legio free for this 🙂

I hope you'll have fun with it. I've been trying to keep myself from getting a second Legio, but it's getting harder to keep that promise. Which proves promises suck.

What the hell😮😮😮 just when I thought i had some understanding of patching, you produce yet another video pushing into new territory 👏👏👏
@CinematicLaboratory9 ай бұрын
This video will not interfere with your current understanding of patching assuming you can fire two envelopes with a trigger pattern. Please ignore the Stages, they're simply doing ADSR triggered by a drum pattern. I am confident you can pull this off too!

One of mykfavorite videos & content from you so far, funnily enough. This might finally kick me into the Versio platform!

It's a really cool take on a noise module. And full of NE character ; )

A well parameterized colored noise source is an excellent signal to plug into Rings or Elements and such.

Thanks for stopping by, Jeremy! Looking forward to your next sonic adventure.

There is something nice about the visual tracking of sound being made, ... examples: Stages & also Marbles (well, at least some amount). And putting Rings through some kind of wringer .. that's an interesting concept, too.

I LOVE noise. It makes its way into most of my work in one way or another. For now, I'm happy with pulling noise from my Model D, Neutron, Dystopia, Noise Tools, had I mentioned I like noise? I'm close to a point where I'll really need to slow down on picking up new modules, the last two big ones will be Hermod+ and Catalyst, so it's probably gonna be a while before I get my hands on a Legio but this thing sounds awesome!
@CinematicLaboratory9 ай бұрын
Slowing down on eurorack expansion is tough, almost like quitting a bad habit you love a lot. I really need to sell a few items I never use, and I am currently doing a lot of videos about stuff I already own but don't know well. I have this wonderful Intellijel case, but just can't figure out Tete/Tetrapad and Metropolix. It doesn't feel right....

Btw did NE just raise their prices ridiculously, looked at Schneidersladen, the Vice Virga Sequential Switch at 330, the Sinc Defero attenuators at 170 something.
@CinematicLaboratory9 ай бұрын
I think it's not just NE. I've been looking for a Control Forge lately. The Benn and Gear video is about three years old and Benn mentioned a price of 500 dollar. Now it's over 700 euro in the EU. Everything adds up getting more expensive, so it's more expensive building them, shipping them, importing them and selling them. It's not funny anymore. I fully understand why people appreciate Behringer pricing.

@@CinematicLaboratory Almost 30 % within less than a year is nuts, i bought the vice virga for 230 last june, now its 350 at musicstore, a sequential switch.

How does this compare to Befaco Noise Plethora?
@CinematicLaboratory9 ай бұрын
I am not aware of the Plethora, but this firmware is free. If you already own a Legio it's a cool firmware to try. If you don't have any of those, I don't think it's worth spending 330 euro on it. I still have only one Legio for the purpose of making firmware videos. You'll need to be willing to connect it to a PC or Mac every now and then, and picking a firmware you'd use permanently. For me, that's the Roucha Legio filter because I have plenty of NE voices. As for noise sources, I often use the Telharmonic for it. So I am not looking for a dedicated module and I am now trying to use what I already have.

Seeing you with 3 Stages makes me feel weird that I am selling mine haha. I have a small system and I think I can get more utility from the space? What do you think?
@CinematicLaboratory9 ай бұрын
Honestly, if you have small system and a small budget, I'd sell it for around the listing price (350), maybe make a bit of profit and go for a XAOC Zadar. But it depends on what you're using Stages for. I often use it as six LFO's. Anyway, what I think is irrelevant, if you don't gel with it, sell it :)
