You can switch easily between the M13 and semovente. The lower hull is completely the same for both vehicles and the upper hull (which is the unique part to each) simply sits on top, quite simple to magnetise. AVANTI SAVOIA

The tank sprue can be built with both variations and swap the turret of the m13(usable also as m14 or m15) for the semovente 47 without limitations on the choices. Is a very clever tank kit, the only downside is the 8 parts turret. Using the m15 version you can have up to 5 mmg, which is mental!!

Light AT guns are great. Opponents tend to ignore them at their own peril.

Lack of AT capability: Bersaglieri. This is why AT grenades is a thing. But there is another unit you can make out of the Blackshirt/ Army one and that is the Carabinieri as they are the only unit to operate and interact with the public as a sort of police force and body guards to foreign dignitaries that visit Italy.

I'm not sure if the torsos on Bersaglieri are going to be different. The metal Bersaglieri and italian army blister packs just had head swaps and the new variants of the british plastics all reused the torso scrupts on the sprues. But they could be different, it's tricky to tell.

the torsos (and sprues) are exactly the same, the only difference on the sprue is the heads

I'm building the semovente. If I want a mobile MG tank, I'll probably take the CV35. Wargames Atlantic make a plastic infantry / Bersaglieri box that also has 4 HMG options.

Now? What I see as a limitation (or lost opportunity) of these army sets is the fact that no transport is included, it seams incomplete because of this 😓

I see your point, but it would just push the price up. I suppose the starter set gives you a good “core” not everyone likes to take transports etc
