More action from the Toledo Sub in Butler County!

Here are a few more from my trip to Hamilton, Ohio last week where I met up with Buckeye Freight Railin` ‪@GY51360‬ ‪@CSXF40PH-2Productions‬ and ‪@AdventureswithJoeyBoats‬ to get all the action that would cross our paths! All trains are Southbound except for a Northbound CSX local and a NS unit grain train with Timmy riding on it! Be sure to watch for the conductor riding on the lead car of the local!

I sure wish you had better weather for Summer. It isn't fair when all you get is rain and chilly temps. We are headed back into the oven starting tomorrow. I like hot weather so I'm good with it! 😅

Good made video, mr 1960 Gambit. Not only trains on this video in Hamilton but also maintenance on the railway. And that goes all the year around, this weekend in Amsterdam Central closed for all trains: maintenance and renewing of rails, platforms and on the east side for work the replaced new bridges of concrete. As far as auto racks go the first one was pretty good. The duel car was funny to me. I just imagined two spray cans having it out. 😂 It's a dumb idea, but one I had. Good train, Scott! 😃😃😃❤❤❤

Oh, I don’t know if I told you or not but that grain train that I told you that they tied down in my little town in Louisiana. It had Timmy‘s name on three cars. Lol train also came through Hamilton heading south because I remember the lead engine on it and it was a EMDSD 70 Ace number 1095 on the point so they bring that grain along way to bring it to New Orleans.

I think so too. They got a new rail laying there right now on the outside of the curve. I have been waiting for them to install it for a while now.

What is a geometry train?

It's a train full of instrumentation that gets the geometry of the track for bad spots etc. It marks the bad spots in the tracks and then they go and fix them.

you know Scott i don't know how you do it, at this point i'm so jaded and disgusted with the tagging unless it's a major tag one over four or five cars or something most people would consider obscene it's just a smear of paint on the car to me!!!

I agree. Some of it is just ridiculous. Some of it is very good and that makes me wonder why that person isn't painting artwork for a living.
