How to recognize coated blade from noncoated?
@giwrgos10karvounis23Ай бұрын
what about ceramic blades? For magic clip and gamma boosted!

I wonder since ceramic blades are mainly utilzed for heat reduction would it be safe to say they would be best suited for non coated still blades ?
@CutswareGeek2 ай бұрын
5 years ago we had no problem with blade heat, they just decreased the quality of blades and now they are selling ceramic as a solution to a problem that they themself created. I believe you should go for heavy enough and well designed steel blade as long as heat is not a problem.

Hello. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of clippers. I've always enjoying optimizing my clippers and trimmers to its full potential. However, what 7200rpm or above flat motor to get for an clipper that doesn't use a circular motor? I have the hardest time trying to find those motors. Clippers like the Caliber (USA) FMJ uses those motors. Thank you in advance.

I want to change the blade on a Conair Metal craft..... with the wedge blade..any suggestions....

You are completely wong! I use this Gamma blades on my Wahl magic clipper with upgraded battery, I got 8300 rpm and is very quiet. So the problems are not the blades but the vibrations on the bad design of gamma body!

Can you show us how to properly sharpen clipper and trimmer blades

You need a special tool for it, the videos are available on KZbin.

I wonder if Delrin cam followers would be good although I've never seen one on any clipper compared to plastic wouldn't it be better quality than basic plastic ?

I was about to get one of those BRDclip blades/the one with diamond etched on the back with the oil channels and fins cut on static and moving blades. Are those good at all?

For which clipper?
@Shmack_Ай бұрын
@@CutswareGeekI ended up ordering one that looked like the faper but has deep grooves all the way through. The moving blade is horrible but it’s ok with the faper moving blade. It looked the new stylecraft echo blade but didn’t have that “crunch” sound

Should i change on instict too?
@CutswareGeek2 ай бұрын
It's a very good question, we exactly don't know how much their motor can handle, can it handle a heavier blade? It does but not a dynamic blade as heavy as wahl's dynamic blade. If you are ok with it then go with it, if you think you want more change it.

I want the best performance possible, what you recomend?

What about gold blades from Babyliss. Can you pair them with steel blades?
@CutswareGeek2 ай бұрын
Babyliss is doing pretty well on blade combinations, don't change anything but if you want to go for a little bit heavier blade, you can go for it with no problem, the motor can handle it easily.
@josechav57312 ай бұрын
@@CutswareGeek I’m having a problem on my boosted fx clipper’s moving blade pivots a bit. So when I zero gap it always cuts on one corner. I turn on and off and the blade always end ups at a different position. I have the gold wedge blade on them. Any ideas what it could be? It was my favorite blade because it was able to remove bald lines really easily.
@FaTaL1h28 күн бұрын
@@josechav5731 You shouldn’t zero gap the babyliss blades on the babyliss clippers because the cutting blade cuts in a circular motion there is no way around this it’s how it’s designed.
