Can vouch for 686. Got a pair a couple years back and still going strong. Great pocket placement, stretch, gusset, articulation, DWR, construction, etc. Solidly mid tier. Very wearable in a variety of fits.

Carhartt composes 70% of the essentials in my wardrobe. Picked up a jogger cargo a few weeks back - most comfortable pair of trousers I've purchased in a long time. Can only recommend. NB: they size REALLY big! I usually wear a medium or large in their t-shirts/ crew necks / hoodies and had to go buy a XS, and it's still roomy. So if you purchase online, be warned to size down

I've been wearing the DU/ER Adventure pants the past couple months and they are fantastic. Durable, super stretchy and the must have, water resistant. Also the cuffs are adjustable so you can wear them like joggers or hike them up your calf.

Btw. if you manage to face the microphone top-down, roughly towards your throat and chest area, you will pick up way less echo from the room and also have fewer noises we don't wanna pick up from the mouth. It works even better if you stand on a carpet. Since you have a shotgun mic there - which is directional - you just pick up all the echo that bounces off of the ceiling and walls. As I mentioned, having a carpet and other soft surfaces (couch, pillows, blankets, opening the closet, even putting a mattress against a blank wall, drying rack full of clothes) in the room will help get rid of most of the echo. There are tripods specifically for shotgun mics. And always remember: Keep your friends close and your microphones closer. Adjust the hight of the tripod so that the mic is juuuust out of frame and you'll get super clear and warm audio. Cheers!

I found some Truspec ones(slightly older model) but they were new with tags secondhand on Ebay--for $10 each> you can really get really budgety if you're willing to search for pants on ebay and maybe try out a slightly larger size than you're used to. They came with tons of pockets, I've gotta hem them smaller but they've got all the requisite techwear stuff like stain-resistance/water resistance. I know they're easy enough to dress up with more tech-themed pieces. The other easily acquired brand in America is the Champion C9 brand--it used to be sold at target so I find it very easy to find used/secondhand or new with tags items on ebay for very affordable prices. I got a quick-dry pair of cargo pants to wear this summer for $20 off ebay.

I picked up some G-Star RAW Rovics in the Raven colorway a couple weeks ago when they were on sale and they are fantastic pants. I haven't been able to figure out a good "#techwear" outfit with them yet, but they are really nice regardless and can go with tons of outfits. Most likely going to get the black rip-stop ones in the future too.

as someone who has holygrail they have low mobility their quality is ok but their just mostly just for aesthetics and dont have any waterproofness or other functions side from ripstop, adjustable/removable straps (you can also adjust the fit with them) and alot of storage space , i love my holy grail cargos tho, they took about 5 weeks to ship for me, they also loud as fuck when you walk lmao, if your looking for waterproof cargos reindee lusion has some for about 125ish if you include shipping on enshadower, sorry if this is written bad im in a rush thought i'd put my 2 cents in

@@elijahtorres9699 They fit relatively true to size in the waist. However if you're going for that traditional techwear taper these might feel a bit too baggy and long in the leg. Also bear in mind that the fabric is nylon [?] So they do make quite a lot of sound.
