This was a great rock hunt! I love finding agate and jasper at the source up in the mountains/hills. Looks like really solid material and nice colors/patterns too. Arizona is the best! ❤ 🪨 ⚒️

The dark red stuff with the white spec is the rock I thought looked purple. I can wait to slice and polish it. 😊

I’m saying to my phone as I sit and watch you say you don’t have water “spit on it” never ending supply of water in your mouth. Nice finds.

Where is this from Camp Verde town?
@RocksForBrains10 ай бұрын
It’s southeast down Salt Mine road. This specific area is a private claim but there’s surrounding USFS lands you can collect from. Just keep an eye out for claim markers. 😊
@kennethsambor910110 ай бұрын
@@RocksForBrains Thanks. Is it up the mountain from about where? I understand if you don’t to share specifics. I am 77 with a bum leg. Not climbing far or taking much.
@RocksForBrains10 ай бұрын
@@kennethsambor9101 oh I don’t mind sharing I just don’t really know the area other than where Julie and Brian’s claim is. That’s the only place I’ve gone here other than the salt mine itself.
