I love the wing motion he does when he tells them to shoo, as if to give emphasis! I also love how you can hear in other videos how he's picked up Lester's laugh 🕊🦅🦆🐤 there are no parrot emojis so I had to make do with these! Eric may look like a peace dove but he's not so peaceful!

That's my favorite part too; the wing motion and head bob. Lucky for Lester these crows are keeping Eric busy now. Doves are not peaceful either, at least mine is not. I have a 20 year old African Ringneck that is almost as bad as Eric TFL. I wouldn't want those two in the same room. Eric would tell Fred to SHOOO! and Fred would laugh in Eric's face. He torments my cats and dive bombs our heads. Fred is also a thief like Eric. He hides small items on top of the kitchen cabinet.

Not meaning to sound like a know-it-all, but from the footage I believe they're actually Currawongs - I'm guessing Black, given that they're in Tasmania, & they look too dark to be Grey Currawongs. The only other species is the Pied Currawong, which AFAIK is not found in Tasmania, but along the Great Dividing Range which stretches along the eastern-most part of the Australian mainland. Currawongs are distant relatives of crows/ravens (same Order), but more closely related to Australian Magpies & Butcherbirds (same Family). But to Eric, they're all just "bastards" who need to be shooed :D
