Blonde Jin was such a look on him haha, it suits him really well lmao As for the car drop in Fire… yeah. They only filmed it once cause having a car dropped many times would’ve costed too much and well lol. So that’s their original and only reaction to it. It’s on the behind scenes of the MV too!

They do actually say CrowTits because am sure Crowtits in Korea means the younger generation, in the live performance from 2019 where all the members were doing individual performances after Jimin the stage turns red and SUGA is sitting on stairs and it looks like there is flames all around him, thats why the crowd went mental because it was this song he was acting to 💜🔥💙

A crowtit is a type of bird! It's a reference to their song baepsae! In baepsae they talk about how the older generation are like storks but they see the younger generation as crowtits. Storks have long legs while crowtits have tiny ones, they're basically saying how the older generation doesn't think the younger one os capable of anything.

"BTS - UGH! Explained By A Korean" by DKDKTV would be a great follow-up video. The lyric video didn't do justice to the lyrics because it's filled with onomatopoeia(the words "ugh!" & "ahem" themselves are a lot more nuanced in Korean and the explanation video is a great resource to unpack the underpinnings), Korean slang and proverbs that won't translate well into English....even if they were translated well, it would still be hard to understand the meanings as a non-Korean speaker, so I highly recommend that video. Also they have a song by the name "Crow-tit"(also called baepsae or silver spoon or try-hard....and also has an explanation video and is one of their political songs)

a crow-tit is a type of bird (tiny). So storks have long legs and run faster/get ahead. and crow-tits have to work so much harder to just get to the same place. so crow-tits are symbol for young people or those that have less. and as you know BTS is there to protect from bullets aimed at the young.

Crow tits isn’t actually a translation error, crow tits or baepsae in Korean are a small type of bird that are used in a Korean saying ‘crow tits who try to run with stalks will fail’ (I’m paraphrasing that’s not exact) which basically means as stalks have very long legs and crow tits only have small legs, if you try to compete with those who are more advantaged you will lose, it’s used as a metaphor for the older generations (stalks) and young generation (crowtits), so here BTS are essentially calling to the youth to rise up. They actually have another song called Baepsae (often also translated to Silver Spoon in English) which is great, I’d definitely recommend a live performance of it with lyrics if you can find one, as the lyrics are really interesting and the choreo is very fun

Yeah so those aren't practical effects. They really just dropped a car in the middle of set then set it ( and a person) on fire. It was all done safely though and that's what's important. They've also done some insane stunts in other MVs you've seen. There are complications you can find of this called "BTS said no to green screen" something like that.

For "Not Today", keep in mind that BTS' Korean name is Bangtan Sonyeondan which translates to "bulletproof boy scouts", so the gun theme has been with them from the start (and their original logo was a bulletproof vest). I read somewhere that them being shot in this video symbolizes how, over the years, haters have targeted each member (which happens to lots of other Kpop artists and celebrities too, sometimes even leading, at least partly, to actual celebrity suicides in Korea in recent years). So the members are being targeted and "hit" one by one, but they refuse to stay down. They rally together as a group - and together, they are "bulletproof" (that final deflection with arms linked, at the end). That stomping gives me chills. I love that moment. And also the "crawl before you walk before you run" wording, which was inspired by Martin Luther King's famous words.

Not being disrespectful to any Artist or group but the Level BTS has now and from the time they debut Noone can even come closer to .01% of it , The Music , The Chorography, The Fashion, The Style, The Hooks , The Unique Dance Steps and Most Importantly Lyrics are so Impeccable even nowadays Group and Artist can't match what bts has done back in theri starting phase, The Level they had set for choreography and the fact that they always used Real Props and Object rather than using Green screen is what become competitive and from seeing bts many Companies starts to use real props and objects , BTS being from a Literally small company no support from their own industry Reached milestones that now not even other artist from other Industry can match, BTS not only uplift themselves but also theri company and most importantly Kpop, Whatever Kpop is now Whatever limelight they are getting and Western Exposure , even if people are watching Other Kpop Artists/ Groups its only and only because BTS made to global level, Non Kpoppers think If BTS are so good let's explore Kpop but they end up Stanning bts that's the fact. Kpop should be thankful and owe their Western Exposure and limelight to BTS and Only BTS.

Thank you so much for checking them out! I enjoyed your thoughts!!! One thing I think is awesome about music and even the music videos you can interpret them anyways you like. Not Today: I have heard different interpretations but these are the ones I like… 1) the people in dark jackets/clocks could be considered the haters. At first all of the haters where against them then towards the end the haters start working with BTS. Also BTS saying that they only have each other’s back to get through everything. 2) the people in the dark cloaks/jackets could be their shadows. A big part of BTS is discussing their shadows (could be their inner demons, thinks they struggle with, temptations, etc.). So this song could be about how their shadows feel like they are working against them but come to realize that they helps us grow, strengthen us, but also that having others to help and be their with you (like the members have each other and family) they can get through hard times… 3) Not Today was inspired by a quote by Martin Luther King, “If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl". Fire: It is such a fun song (personally I love its message but not a favorite song to listen to)! I love how you get to see BTS humor and how funny they are. This song I interpreted is as to live life and to be yourself. Don’t worry about what people think about you and it is okay to be weird. Talks about to enjoy our youth while we can. One thing I think is cool is that in Korea (and I believe most Asian countries) kids’s whole life it about school and they hardly have time to do anything else and to enjoy life (honestly though I think this can relate to most people). We get to caught up in work etc. that sometimes we forget to have fun and enjoy life sometimes. It is okay to take breaks and have fun… Ugh: You basically understood what it is about but I highly recommend reacting to DKDKTV explanation video because it explains the wordplay and the Korean references so you can understand the song better. Recommendation: -Could you pls react to Baepsae and then do dkdktv explanation video? It is such an amazing song and the lyrics are awesome but you will need to understand Korean references. (I also highly recommend watching dance practice on Bangtansubs) Anyways thanks for reacting!!! Hope you enjoy Beat savor along with the BTS songs!!! P.S. I know it might be too much I I HIGHLY recommend doing an these two explanation videos for Idol. It is a lot deeper and also helps to understand the crazy MV. -Dkdktv explanation video -Xceleste’s explanation video

A Crow Tit is a beautiful delicate little bird which is a metaphor used by BTS to represent the oppressed youth in Korea (the metaphor is also used in Baepsae (Silverspoon) - this theme is central to the original meaning of Bangtan Sonyeondon or Bullet Proof Boy Scouts in Korean, which means, "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that are aimed at adolescents like bullets".

Kelsey Mattison said on 6.28.21 I always saw the message of "Fire" to be Your young, your allowed to party instead of study sometimes, you can make mistakes, you dont have to be the best at what you do - this is your time to discover who you are through trial and error And even if no one else will "I forgive you." Soukie said on 2/5/22 Honestly I can't speak for what Suga really wanted the "I'll forgive you" to mean, but since you asked for our interpretation of it I'll share mine ^^ For me the song is about how society makes "rules" and "molds" that make us miserable if we don't follow them. It makes us feel inferior if we can't achieve those standard and question our value when we look at others who actually fit. Hence my interpretation of "burn it up" and "fire": it's like they're encouraging the listeners to just burn that checklist that we use to compare ourselves with to others or determine our value in society. It's almost revolutionary lyrics asking people to rebel against the preconceived ideas of our society and put our happiness first. But if you destroy something usually you get blamed for it. So for me "I'll forgive you" is another part of the encouragement they're giving as though they're saying "Just go for it, do whatever you want to do to be happy, even if others blame you for going against the system or being a rebel, we're on your side, we'll forgive you in their stead."

Yes, Crow-tits are in the lyrics because it relates to the younger generation compared to storks which are the older generation. Crow-tits are a bird that has very short legs and storks have very long legs. So the saying is something like a Crow-tit will tear their legs trying to keep up with the storks. BTS' song "baepsae" talks about this. It is worth the watch to do the dance practice, explanation by DKDKTV, and 2017 live in japan (in black and gold outfits.)

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Love this song(Not Today). You should check the shooting sketch for this one. This was filmed at an open-pit stone quarry in Danyang, north Chungcheong province in Korea. The stage was made of polished stainless steel sheets that would be called in “mirror finish” in architecture/construction. Crow tit is a real word sorry. lol. Baepsae (their song) explanation dives into it. Also, Roscoe another YT plays Beet Saber. That is how he leaned of BTS. Small world. stay safe. -NY USA Army 💜 M. Michèle Thomas said on 7/29/21 Not Today was filmed at an open-pit stone quarry in Danyang, north Chungcheong province in Korea. It was very cold and the white patches are actually snow. The large round reflective surface was polished stone, maybe granite? I can't remember which stone but there is a making of for this video that you can check out on Bangtan TV channel. bembolbug said The stage was made of polished stainless steel sheets that we would call in “mirror finish” in architecture/construction. You could actually see the squares of each sheet from some of the angles when zoomed out. It probably looks frosted from the dirt and dust from their shoes (think sorta of how we get like fingerprint oil smudges on glass screens etc.). This material is actually sometimes used in lieu of glass mirrors for being much less delicate and easier to maintain. Sunshine Sam said on 1/20/22 This is such an anthem and hype song. This song is actually the follow-up track to Spring Day. While that song is about the feeling of missing someone, this song speaks about the will to survive and fight. I love the beginning quote from Namjoon “All the underdogs in the world A day may come when we lose But it is not today Today we fight” Karan Kamble said on 1/20/22 In addition to the MLK connection, "Not Today" takes inspiration from the Lord of the Rings :) The music video by itself can be linked to LOTR film elements, but even the lines at the beginning of the song - "... A day may come when we lose. But it is not today. Today we fight." - are similar to Aragorn's in the "Return of the King" - "A day may come when the courage of Men fails, when we forsake our friends, and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Men comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight!" 💜 Here is the dance practice kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYHaip2EnZaVrdk (easy to miss, but check out JK's moves at 2:05 in that video). The "Baepsae" explaination video explains the "crow-tits" & youth/under dog vs establishment/social expectations. While it was geared originally for youth it applies for every society & generation. How many times have you been somewhere & grown people are acting like it's high school & they think they are discount mean girls/boys. It's our anthem to not give up. Run, walk or crawl if you have to but just move & we move together
@pslinky2 жыл бұрын
Not Today: the lyrics were inspired by Martin Luther King jr 's speech where he says "if you can't fly you run (together we won't die), if you can't run, walk.(together we won't die) & If you can't walk, crawl and gear up, . It's a fight song about moving ahead under adversity .it's my song when I need inspiration & need to feel tough lol. 🙂 ARMYs can correct me if this is wrong but the figures in black represent ARMYs. They're running with BTS & when you hear shots and watch it looks like BTS are getting shot, but when the frame pulls out the black clad ARMYs are protecting BTS from bullets and when ARMYs get shot BTS link arms to protect ARMYs. They are they are bulletproof boys outs after all 😀Very symbiotic of them. Namjoon starts by saying " to all the underdogs in the world, a day may come where we lose, but that is NOT TODAY! TODAY we FIGHT! Crow-tit (baepsae) is a small bird with short legs, meaning the younger generation or " try-hards". Storks are the older gen with long legs. If a crow tit tried to run after a stork to keep up the crow-tits crotch may split (just hurt hard I think) & never catch them. This song is always in rotation on my playlist, as it helps me want to fight. Not physically, just fight the system, Injustices etc. Mostly hypes me up! Love your reactions 🙂 I'm sure I'll edit to add more when I hear any questions you may have about the rest of the other mv's 💜 have a fantastic weekend 💜 Eta: please watch the dkdktv "ugh explained by a Korean" because this is a clever song with a lot of awesome wordplay but there are too many Korean cultural references, so pls check it out! 💜

Oh beat saber padawan or master Pagan ? There is a bts reactor who is a fan of beat saber and he discovered BTS through the game. He put his BTS beat saber videos online. If you are interested to watch a BTS master beat saber u can search Roscoe & the Big comfy couch 😉🤘💜 Oh and you can hear a snippet of UGH live in BTS Festa room live 💜

i highly recommend DKDKTV's explanation video of UGH! because it's one of the most lyrically complex songs in bts' entire discography, and this video translated around 5% of the entire meaning of the song. not only because some of the translations are wrong but also because you basically have to be thoroughly fluent in korean to understand exactly what they're referring to

Hi Pagan! 👋🏼 Psyched to see you reacting to some of their early-ish songs! Please check out their debut song "No More Dream" (2013). Also still recommend "Boy In Luv" (2014) as a prequel to "Boy With Luv" (2019), which you've already watched. I just know that you'll fall in love with their earlier work. **Edited to add, "I Need U" (2015)!! This one is important. This song gave them their first number 1 win on a South Korean music show, and is the first video in the BU (Bangtan Universe). As per usual, requesting 5th Muster live performance of "Dimple" and "Pied Piper", pleeeease! 😄💜 Thank you for sharing with us!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 P.S. As everyone has already explained crow tit, just wanted to add that the Korean word is bapsae, and it can also roughly translate to someone that is a try hard. They actually have a song called Bapsae (or Silver Spoon); there's no MV, but the live performances are hype!! 💜

Sorry for commenting twice on your video if it seems like I am spamming but I wanna say something concerning color coded lyric videos. At all costs please avoid lyric videos from channel like "Jaeguchi" and "Lemoring". Their lyric videos are the worst when it comes to translating BTS songs. They incorrectly translate the songs(They make song lyrics look nonsensical....it's like they translate the lyrics using google translate and it's quite hard to watch) and most times they highlight the wrong members for parts that are not theirs(for example, in this video, this part 21:02 was still Suga rapping not J-Hope...Suga just changed his flow). The only channels I recommend for better BTS lyric translations and correct song distribution highlighting, I recommend the channels: "af taehyung"(for color coded lyric videos) and "DIAL 6137"(for visual lyric videos....this channel does not do color coded lyric videos so it does not show who sings which part, but the translations for the BTS songs are the best out of all the channels that create lyric videos. It's even better than the official lyric translations on the official BTS MVs. It's best for solo songs but it's also good for group songs)

BTS live performances are even more cool from the mv. So it means they are really good at performing.

You HAVE to watch the rap line perform "Ugh"! They go nuts in that performance, especially J-Hope. I fell in love with him watching him perform "Ugh"! There's a good video of them performing with the lyrics. Even if you don't react to it, you can enjoy it by yourself. Also the lyric there is more accurate than the one you reacted to. That is one of my favourite BTS performances. Believe me, you don't want to miss that!

Show us on BeatSaber; Roscoe got into BTS from putting on videos of him playing the Tiny Tan BTS songs on BS. They are a ton of fun, that’s pretty much all I play on the Occulus. You can find people have made more songs from BTS you can download too. Most of those are only expert and I’m not that good yet.

BTS rapline are real hiphop artists and lovers. They aren’t any typical kpop rappers. RM,Suga are underground rappers, Jhope was trained by Suga and RM and many other big rappers
