Here in Warwickshire, the 19000's ADL E400's are E400 Tridents. They sound nothing like the one at 1:19

Thought it was 7012 you were after? Then again I noticed it had developed a strange whining/grinding noise when I last rode it, and the interior of 7016 is in much better condition.

@@ThingsWithEngines yeah that’s why I’ve changed my mind 7012 has been sounding really rough and the interior is in much worse condition than 7016s also a lot of my friends say that 7016 is a much better bus :)

Well then, I again wish you good luck! Would be really good to see one of the batch saved. I sort of wish I could keep one too (either 7004 or 7015 for me) but I'm not really in a position to be able to. Please keep me updated if you can!

@@ThingsWithEngines yes no problem 04 is a fantastic vehicle and unique too all the others explore have I really hope someone saves her or she is sold on for further use 15 is also an absolute monster great bus too I’m gonna miss hearing her mighty roar every time she goes past on my local route but my plans for 016 is too strip all the paint off and paint her back into her original 22 primeline branding and yes I’ll keep you updated if I get her :D

@@ThingsWithEngines oh also by the way 01 09 hopefully 014 and possibly a couple more are earmarked for preservation too but 14 isn’t definite they are the ones I’ve heard about there may be a few more that I don’t know about

How many of those Gemini 1’s and ALX’s are still in Birmingham?

These were all Dundee or East Scotland vehicles, almost all gone now. There are still several post-2002 examples left with NXWM.
