Not everyone watches dancing shows. I for one wouldn't have known them if I wasn't told about dancing with the stars (us) and from there, got recommended strictly I'm my KZbin feed

Why didn't they get celebrities off CBBC or CITV or other children's channels? These were relatively obscure celebrities - Gymnastics, Cycling, Heptathlon - are specialist sports. And the others no idea. There was literally no attempt to match the celebrities to the audience - primary aged children or maybe year 7 or 8. If I hadn't watched the Olympics/paralympics this summer as they were during the holidays, I wouldn't know even the athletes names. Very bad planning, considering there are children's shows they could have chosen from. Or current pop stars. Keep away from sport, as that is specialist knowledge, even football.

Of course it is a fantastic yearly event and the cash raised is phenomenal I just wish animals did just as well as Children in need each year but we don't seem to give the same generosity to animals or discarded pets who have to suffer also.Sad really .
