Got to send the last 3 games to Gothamchess for guess the ELO 🤣

@@Jenks465I’ve got a strange feeling that Gotham won’t be including any Frank content in Guess the ELO. He bailed out of the Frank Show last year. But if he did include it (if he didn’t know who it was) he’d guess 6 to 700 and be shocked to find he’s ‘1100’. He’s not really of course…he got that with assisted play…hence the trash play.

@@conradnoel though i do disagree with you saying he's cheating, there do seem to be matches where he wins with ease and doesn't blunder (first few matches today) , and then matches where he completely breaks and blunders horrendously (that 600-700 level), i personally think it's due to a lack of consistency and burnout due to long streaming times, I'm 1800 and only play for 1-2 hours max in a row, now these "unhealthy" playing hours do lead to tiredness and most importantly impatience (hence why there is a small chance he is cheating sometimes), i doubt it, but what i will criticise is his unwillingness to study basic opening theory and time management (his bad time management is also one of the reasons i doubt he's cheating - he doesn't need to think too long to cheat obviously), but the signs of him being inconsistent mean he's either going to hit a wall in elo points or a massive drop-off (for me when that happened i quit chess for a few months), now considering he's come back from a LONG break he should be looking better and better over time, fixing his consistency is gonna be key, but to say he is cheating to me seems kinda logical when you look at it at face value, though i respectfully disagree with you.

@@nikolauric3880Thank you for your comment. I do appreciate it. I completely agree with you that tiredness leads to inconsistency. The length of time it takes to play a ‘cheat’ move is whatever the cheater wants it to be. Instantaneous cheat moves are too obvious which is why some of them know the move the engine is showing but feign ‘thinking’ time. I think you’re right to be cautious if you’ve not studied his games over a long period. I have done this and started to become suspicious when he suddenly beat three players in sequence who were over 250 ELO above him when he was a struggling 800. I analysed those games and he was playing engine moves. (Prior to this I noticed, like you, that impatience and the need to keep viewers watching a ratings climb might tempt him to cheat). I called him out and he became more cautious. But I noticed he shifted to playing 2nd, 3rd or even 4th engine moves. There is a pattern also of ‘throwing’ games (which can also be interpreted as him simply playing without the computer) and then suddenly playing high level moves in subsequent games. Another alternating pattern is just playing engine moves for an advantage and then playing on his own. I, like you, initially thought it was simply inconsistency. But, sadly, I’m convinced he is not playing fairly.

@@nikolauric3880Thanks for your comment. I think you’re right to be cautious if you’ve only seen some of his games but I note that even with that limited sample you’re already a little bit suspicious. I’ve been following Frank from last year and have analysed patterns in his play: Last year as a struggling 800 he suddenly out of nowhere beat three players 250 ELO above him in sequence. I looked at those games and he played top engine moves. I called him out and he played more circumspectly after that. But there are patterns of deliberately ‘throwing’ games to put people off the scent. This can also be interpreted as him playing games without the computer. The inconsistency, like you, I thought, was due to long streaming and lack of focus but the kore I looked the more I saw a pattern. I think he needed to keep viewers for the ratings climb, got stuck, became frustrated he wasn’t rising and was tempted to play unfairly. He won’t study so that is the only way he could gain significant ELO.

Comedy chess. An 800 loses lots of games, which is fine. But Frank isn’t really 1100. And we all know why he really isn’t. Enjoyed it though.

He doesn't understand the channel. He doesn't understand the fun we're having, he doesn't understand the value in watching someone strive for improvement. He just thinks he's better than everyone and hence his unending jealousy and malice for the love and success that Frank enjoys 😢
