As one of Palias alphatesters I can say it is a very cozy MMO. Everything in there is fun for someone. All the characters are unique and have interessting stories to explore. The world is very cute and it just makes fun to find everything in it. Decorators or collectors as well as romancers or farmers will have lots of fun in it.

I've never heard of the Zoo game before but oh man the moment I saw the art style I immediate thought it got mixed up with Stardew valley gameplay. That's crazy and I hope they change it up. Yes, I love the way stardew valley looks. No, I don't want to see developers copy it. The amazing thing about pixel art is that it can be really unique and I want to see other developer's art style.

I love puff pals. I am part of the alpha testing on pc and am absolutely loving it so far! Can't wait for it to come out on switch. Also that first game reminds me so much of ooblets

I would have been looking forward to the new Layton next year too but 👀👀 I guess I’ll have to wait 😭😭 Mica and the witches mountain looks amazing! I'm also playing Palia, almost every day, I'm as hooked on it as I was hooked on Animal Crossing back in the day. It's cool that they encourage teamwork, if players fish, hunt,, forage etc together everyone gets the loot. Players call out rare items and everyone comes to help, no one is bothering you or trying to take your loot .

I backed the Ova Magica Kickstarter, so I'm very excited for it! Chill Town sounds like fun. Looking forward to finding out more about it. Pixelia also looks good! The idea of being able to do anything sounds awesome! I want to play Palia, but I don't do PC gaming. So I hope they make the Switch port good. Several recent games haven't been very good when ported to Switch. Puffpals looks so cute!

Just a head's up, I just heard about Palia today from a friend, and she told me that it was coming out in 4 days from now on December 14th 2023, so it is not launching next year, it is coming out this year! I went to the website and it says you can preorder it for free right now and pre-download to the Switch so it is ready to play on the 14th! I just downloaded it and I am super excited to play it with my friend on launch. I am also very interested in checking out Fantasy Life, and Puff Pals when they are released.

Where did you hear/read that Palia has been delayed for the Switch? The Nintendo website still says "winter 2023" and they are not saying anything on Twitter (won't respond to questions about Switch release). I was so hoping to play it in my two weeks off during the holidays 😢

zoo story is so sus to me bc the creator claims he worked with concernedape on stardew valley & that’s why it looks so similar but i cannot get behind the idea that even if he helped with coding or transferring to switch or other platforms, that then gives him “permission” to pretty much exactly copy that art style which IS uniquely eric’s. it is his life’s work & it seems so disrespectful to me to be so inspired by someone but not inspired enough to do your own thing & be creative rather than almost exact copying. maybe some people believe the story change is enough of a change but art can be stolen as well. a lot of people who don’t closely follow video games will look at this and think it’s by concernedape, and that will boost it’s sales & i believe this creator knows that & won’t back down from it. eta: he wasn’t backing down from it last time i checked but honestly i haven’t been keeping up. hopefully it’s been changed.
