Like this project? Nope. I 💓LOVE💓 THIS PROJECT!!!! And there are so many things you can tuck inside! Postage stamps for an elderly person, or anyone really, but our seniors truly struggle on lower fixed incomes; tuck in some hankies. Chocolates *definitely*. Holiday mints with hot chocolate 🍫 packets or packets of Apple Cider. 🍎 Homemade holiday goodies (like FUDGE!! in a plastic bag). Nails or Foot Spa items. Gift cards, even just $5. It will be fun to make up several and carry some around in a bag during the Season to spontaneously make someone's day. I'm also thinking of Birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Sweetest Day, Co-worker Get-Togethers, Boss' Day, Anniversaries, 🇺🇸 Veteran's Day 🇺🇸 (make several and take to a local nursing home or VFW for the vets) 🇺🇸. Gosh there are so many special days and special people to give these to. Individual snacks and a Dollar Tree winter cap for the homeless. I discovered your channel this month absolutely randomly, and am I ever grateful for that accident! I've been rather distant and withdrawn since becoming pregnant. I found some really large tank tops and tees at the dollar tree. I'm going to turn them into night shirts by sewing fabric "z's" on and sewing little cats with blankets (cat's pajamas) , stars and moons, etc. So I'm going to take a full size poster board with the wrapping paper and do the same process, just bigger. I'm not sure about the magnets. I already have a package of round magnets from the dollar tree, so we'll see!. I also got the fuzzies so I will also be making the same as this project for the fuzzies and tether it to the box with the nightshirt. I'm not that creative, I'm just spinning off of your instructions! Thank !!!

There are lots of things I could think of to put in there. I love to crochet dishcloths or pot holders. You could put gloves in there. Some pretty smelling soap. So many possibilities! Sherry, This is one of my favorite crating projects you have shared. I love love love it. I also wanted to share a thing I have discovered. $ tree has file folders used for filing documents.that they sell. Sometimes I use these to glue my pretty paper to when I need something equivalent to printed card stock.

I love also using poster boards to make my boxes, it's much stronger + the wrapping paper = a one of a kind box. Still wish we had a Dollar Tree in Hawaii tho. Was a busy weekend for me and now I'm catching up on your video's I missed out on. I did not realize that a thrift store can be a jackpot for crafting items, I've never paid attention to their crafting area before. I found bunch of pretty wallpaper and wallpaper borders that had never even been used and a bunch of other stuff right along with the wallpapers, and got them super cheap! I am so excited and I'm keeping a check at my door waiting for my trim and scoreboard to get here so I can officially start crafting! My husband uses ebay and I've never used either till I got with him. And I realized I can't find everything you use on their website, so I have opened an Amazon account up and started following you on there so when I need supplies I can order it from your site to help you out as much as I can. This is another genius project, Sherry! I love the fuzzy sock idea or I may use the boxes I create using this technique to hold a bag of home-made fudge or spiced pecans! I also love making dish cloths and hot pads, so I could certainly use a box like this for that purpose! TYFS! ❤️

Hi Sherri, I was sorting through a lot of store bought cards this morning. I send cards for prayer requests, church shut-ins, etc. I don't have time to make all of those, but I was thinking it might not be too much cheating if I added some little embellishments to the cards? Also thinking of the piece of lightweight pkging of the smaller note cards I could tape two together and have some free lightweight cardstock. You are a truly welcome inspiration!!
