Dear Georgina, I've never written to You before, I have followed your channel since the beginning, but now I have to say, often I just wait until my morning coffee is ready to see what's up with You. It really makes my day. Like listening a friend or my Mom. Thanks for that. You are absolutely right, leave crocheting as a hobby. Once you start mass production, it's no fun anymore. AND not that it wasn't clear by now, but let's face it, Simon is the most caring person EVER. Simply wonderful :) Best wishes to You!☺

Go careful tomorrow, you don’t want to overdo things. You’ve worked so hard to get to this point. I can sympathise about “cabinet fever”. I get so frustrated when I am having a flare up with the ME or fibromyalgia. I get so fed up of being indoors and not being independent.

Congratulations to Simon and you!!! Being a grandparent is the best!! I love it so much, all the fun, none of the responsibility lol Hey, I had an idea for your office, what about something behind the door? you know hanging, I see people put them up in like kids room for extra space.

Thank goodness you haven't got an infection ( touch wood ). That hexagon cardigan looks great, the ambre effect with the colours is quite stunning. Rampiril is for lowering high blood pressure, I am on them too. I can understand how frustrating it must be for you to be limited in what you can do, along with the emotional stress that comes with the whole situation of the op and it's after effects. Sometimes a good cry can help, it is a shame that sometimes people still interpret it as a weakness, and a negative thing. I do worry that if you go back to the shop too soon, you might stretch up to a shelf without thinking. As a crafty person, myself, I like using these miniature sets of wooden drawers, wooden advent calendars or these wooden drawer sets that are made to look like a stack of books for smaller items. The great thing is you can paint them up to your own design. Congratulations on the new grandchild. :) As ever, sending luv, hugz + healing energy :) xx

Georgina your crochet is amazing! Have you tried different techniques and stitches to get different textures and looks? X
@georginavlog9 ай бұрын
not as yet. I wanted to try and make as many projects as I could with the stitches I have and then start adding more. My next project is a granny square bag, and I need to learn how to make a strap. I have never done that before! So that is my next challenge.

I really struggle with getting the tablets out of those strips (I think they're called blister packs). I'd much prefer my tablets to be in a small plastic tub like the old days, but I suspect they need to cut costs and the strips are less costly. x

Didn't you say that Liz will never be a grandmother and that's why she bought a reborn baby? If Simon has now become a grandfather, wouldn’t this mean she already was a grandmother and became a great-grandmother now? 🤔
@georginavlog9 ай бұрын
Simon was in a relationship for 10 years before me, and his partner then, already had kids. So biologically they are not his children but the two boys do call him dad, as he brought them up. So me and liz aren't really great or grandparents. But its lovely to know that the babies parents think of us as such.
