I have a similar experience. My job was not a good environment for me, and so I just jumped into ESL & Online Teaching. But I came RIGHT before the China regulations hit.

You got in just in time! I got out of B&M teaching the year prior to Covid. So, I was SO happy to teach online because I wanted to and not because I was made to!!

Hello, thanks for the great video, I have been watching a lot of your content because I want to start teaching English online very shortly, I only need to generate around $20-$23 a day. I am wondering, I am in Canada on EST time, do you think I would have to work a night shift to get around 2 hours of work per day using ANY of teaching sites online? Or do you think I could get 2 hours on a day shift , say from 7am to 8pm EST? I am on nights but really want to return to days. Please let me know, I would really appreciate it thank you.

Hi! Thanks for watching and you could make $23 per day working online. The companies mention in this video would allow you to work those hours. Plus, there is Online Kids Academy, Cambly and Edukita and they offer classes during those times.

I know this is random but are these companies diverse? Like do they hire teachers that are not white as well? I know there can be a little discrimination in the ESL world so sometimes I get nervous to apply (even though I have to)

Good Question! They are diverse. People of all shades of color work for several ESL companies and to very well.
