Hi guys! 🥰 As usual, I managed to mess up something in my video lol (I’m so sorry!). As many of you have informed me, Día de los Muertos actually occurs on November 2nd and has absolutely nothing to do with Halloween. I knew the general idea of this, but did not mean to draw any comparisons in my video! I’m so sorry I didn’t look into this before filming, and will do more to be aware of this in the future! Thanks for being on top of me & my forgetful brain all of the time!!😋❤️

agree that addie larue feels very fall-like! i just feel like the book was very comfy (like you could curl up in bed and read it with tea on the side) and luc kind of also adds to the halloween-esque feeling as well

Hi, Ash. Just wanted to clarify, Dia de los Muertos is not Halloween and has nothing to do with Halloween. First, Dia de los Muertos is celebrated on November 2nd, and is such a personal and deep celebration for the families and the people on those families that have passed away :). Just That

I listened to legendborn on audiobook, then immediately started it over and am currently rereading. I also ordered the physical book. It was so good! The first third was pretty info dumpy. The rest of the book made up for it 100 fold.

I may have misunderstood what you meant when you mentioned Día de los Muertos, October 31st, Halloween, or whatever you want to call it, and thought that maybe you think they are the same thing, so in case that you do (which I may be wrong), I just wanted to say that Día de los Muertos is celebrated on November 2nd and is very unrelated to Halloween. The US editions of Mistborn are so confusing, omg. I'm relieved that in Australia we have the UK editions which are easier to navigate in terms of knowing which is book 1. XD Isn't The Final Empire AMAZING? Sanderson is a fave author of mine and whenever someone reads him and discovers how much they enjoyed themselves, it always makes me so happy!!!
