I actually didn't even feel like I was reading about Magnus and Alec in tlbotw. I don't even know why exactly, but the characters just didn't feel like themselves and I was really sad about it. (Btw my favourite this month was either This is how you lose the time war or Skyward)

I just started and LOVE it! I tried knitting at first but I’m much faster with crochet, and it’s so nice to listen to an audiobook while doing it! 🥰

a dash of ash Crochet is always faster for me over knitting most definitely! I was crocheting for a year before I started knitting and I just taught myself because there is a pattern that I wanted to do it was knitted so I was determined to do it and I got it done LOL. But if you ever want to try knitting again, I would suggest if you’re right handed go for continental knitting because you hold your yarn in the same as if you’re crocheting so just a tip

Wait until you finish The Toll 🙊 one of my favourite books of September was Beetle and the Hollowbones by Aliza Layne. It's a beautiful, witchy graphic novel with some great themes throughout. Also, the illustrations and colour palet are to die for!!

Don't be sorry for ranting on books!😅 Actually, I enjoyed Crescent City a lot, but I fully agree with everything you say. Even though Sarah's world is super different and diverse and colorful, the information about it is just not given to us in the most digestible way I guess.😄 Can't wait for book 2 though! Also, I am currently reading Lady Midnight for a first time and oh my, it's kinda boring ahh, it's kinda as you described the Lost Book of the White - they investigate and discuss and then again and I just want it to finally be revealed please. But I enjoy following the dynamics of the Blackthorn family we'll see how it goes🤗

I've just read "The Master & Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov and it's one of the most eye opening books ever.. It's a dark fantasy fiction filled w satire, poetry, political struggles, comedy, romance modernism, etc. Truly a hot pot of everything and still a classic piece of 20th Century literature. Gotta check it out. Cheers! :)

I only managed to read one book in the entire month of September because of my reading slump which I like to call my Rebecca Slump. But it was The Unraveling of Cassidy Holmes by Elissa R. Sloan and it was fantastic. I highly recommend it. I also managed to read about half of Early Departures by Justin A. Reynolds and it's definitely different and I'm enjoying it so far.

I felt the exact same about Crescent City except it was Bryce that I hated cause she was literally Celaena. I thought Hunt was slightly better than Rowan and Rhysand. He was similar but not the exact same

I hated the narrator in diviners audio 🙈 I liked the audio better than reading, but I hated how the narrator made the male voices, and oh, the main girl.... I hated her, because of the image the voice alone gave to me 😆🙈
