@Isabella Burlat ok, so basically from what i have seen hala hala is them coming from the shadows and being known as a group (smth related to the peter pan shadow). As like peter, their shadow is something apart from them and it has it's own mind. And it's smth related to the kq fellas outfits that were all black, linked to immature feelings, the past and the unknown. So they are trying to control their shadows like in say my name, they're sitting in front of it. (also hongjoong once mentioned that saay my name comes before pirate king bc tells ateez story. So in hala hala they get conscious of their shadows and in say my name they start to control it, and realize who they really are as a group. But there are consequences, like wooyoung not making it the right way, and not dying with all the other shadows in hala hala. So bc of that ateez start to feel bad things, like desire for power and stuff. They're looking for a treasure (and yeosang has the key for it, but all the other members have different powers) that probably is smth realeted to being known as a whole group and individuals, and being good people and all of that. So in illusion+wave they realize that they were trapped in a dream where wooyoung (shadow version) was trying to get the key. And they set themselves free and wake up in wonderland (wave mv), after a while they realize the whole wooyoung thing and chain him up. Probably execute his shadow (bc of the black flags that can mean that) but also bringing the "real" him up to the stairs to that heaven alike place that we cans see in the wonderland mv (bc the black flag in "pirate language" means that the ones who surrender without a fight may survive), so i guess wooyoung agreed to that and decided to let them set him free too so he can join them. I'm sorry if its messy lol, but it's a pretty confusing and elaborated theory

Here is my interpretation of this whole concept...………………. (also I wrote this before todays comeback so now I have new ideas lol) Ateez are named Pirate Kings (Debut MV), and their purpose is to find their Treasure (2nd MV). During this journey, they come across evil and make friends with them making them stray from their path of finding this treasure. In "Say My Name (3rd MV)," they realize they are trapped with this evil (them looking at themselves with the black masks) and start trying to find ways to escape it. "Hala Hala (4th MV)," is their battle in escaping it, in which they finally do so and succeed. After they finally rid themselves of this evil, they decide to take a break and get really comfortable in a utopian island in Wave (5th MV). Although they are happy there and everything is perfect, they soon realize that it is only an "Illusion (6th MV)," and that they are getting nowhere in their journey. (Side note: this reminds me of Greek Mythology and the Sirens Story). Anyways, that's when they see the "Aurora (7th MV)," lights which guides them back to their path on finding their treasure again. Hongjoong, the leader, wrote the song Aurora for us Atiny (Our Fandom); therefore it makes sense that we are the Aurora lights and we are the ones guiding Ateez to the right path. And here we are now with our journey. This next comeback is the finale to their Treasure/Pirates series, in which it follows a "Alice in Wonderland" and "Peter Pan" concept with their main Title Track being titled "Wonderland." In the teasers their is a keyhole, that is being metaphorically linked to the same keyhole Alice saw when she came out of Wonderland herself. She saw herself sleeping through that same keyhole, which has Atiny (our fandom) believing that in the Illusion MV, Ateez is waking up from a slumber as well. The reasoning behind this is the whisper "open your eyes" at the end of Illusion MV, thus them waking up from the illusion, following the aurora lights (Aurora MV), and resuming their journey through Wonderland.

So from what I gathered for the most part, Wooyoung is chained up because in HALA HALA he "killed" everyone but I think he was a distraction. In the performance video (skip the rest of this explanation if you haven't seen it) Yunho "kills" everyone with his back to the camera. Whereas in HALA HALA Wooyoung is facing the camera, smiling while smearing blood on his face. However, Yunho just looks back with a very blank stare, much more chilling than Wooyoung's scene. It appears the members have broken into different trials/units. Yeosang and Seonghwa are with each other, crawling through a tunnel where Mingi is in a ring of fire. Etc, etc. Not quite sure what San's flower field could mean but hey it's pretty. This is all I've gathered so far, feel free to add on :)

Yaaaaas!!! Of the three comebacks I was waiting for (ONEUS, SuperM and ATEEZ) this was my favorite!! These guys never fail to impress me. Overall if we are looking at the mini/full album releases, ONEUS is my favorite just because I love pretty much every single song on the mini-album...this release would be my 2nd favorite. If we are looking at just the title tracks then it’s be Wonderland, Jopping, and and then Lit. But Lit and Jopping are really probably tied for second because I just can’t help but jam when they come on lol. But yeah! Super impressed with these comebacks. 😍🇰🇷🎶
