everytime you install a new driver it will stutter in this game , becouse shaders reset and the memory have to memorize again the huge map , so it will stutter the first 2-3 games , after you explored all the map again , you can start check the fps , keep this in mind , even if you rollback same thing , most people don't know and they complain about the driver.

idk about fps but my friend noticed significantly lower temperature (25 celsius less) on new drivers compared to the previous ones in gzw

I can confirm this shader cache settings is not present for the 20 series (2080Ti here)

they should let us turn off lumen and use rasteriation it will significantly increase fps thru all pc setups old gen or new gen

As far as I know, they cannot *just* do that. It would fundamentally change how the world's lighting works and would take significant developer time to implement.

@@klemintime1452 if they're willing to work on rasterization lighting it would solve a lot of problems for old gens and even boosting new gens frames even gtx 10 series would be able to play with 60 frames

Many people are just ignorant and not thoughtful like you, so they just want a single fix button which this update probably give them by assigning recommended settings based on the video card used for the game and geforce experience.

I am assuming that Frame Generation Tech *may* play a part in the increase for some too, seeing as it may force it on for some 40 series owners without them knowing and then "voila".
