(also, i totally get what you mean about meditative art flow; i've been really frustrated with a large painting i'm currently working on, and i like to give into ~intuition~, but sometimes that means not making more considerate choices for the piece, or even silly working-harder-not-smarter things when you're zoned out and enjoying the sensory fun of painting more than having conscious focus of Creating An Image)
