By the way, they streamlined Dailies.. you don't even NEED to do actual dailies, you can just do random exploration and bosses and it'll count towards your "daily activity"... So you can get 40 gems from completing all four activity tallies.. but you still have to visit Katheryne to get the final 20 and get your 60 gems for the day.

Although there _are_ other characters who can travel over water for a short time (Ayaka and Mona turn into mist, whilst Arlecchino sprouts a weird wing and hovers forwards), there's something about the spectacle of _standing_ on a liquid that makes Furina's ability _so damned cool._

Dailies in Genshin only take about 5-10 min depending now. You don't have to log in and do dailies. Dailies however get you primogems, so you can save those up for pulls without needing to spend money. But that is on you if you want to not have to spend money on the gacha. If you spend money anyway on the gacha, then you can completely ignore the dailies and still pull of course.

Gas station deli, chips and sweet tea. Just some helpful notices for Chelzor: 1 - The game just had possibly one of if not its biggest updates. I can verify A LOT of it is very good. Along with that the game has a skip to story function for its quests. The game has a lot (and I mean A LOT) of quality of life updates since last you played. And yes the card game is pretty fun as well. 2 - More than anything else, I personally found that Genshin Impact is fun because it's a "play-along" story. Like a sing-a-long movie. The game is also very strong in its "play how you want". I've seen that a lot of gacha games basically require you to spend if you have any desire to accomplish anything significant, including certain types of content. The game that has the best history of not doing anything like that is Genshin. I acknowledge that particular attribute is a "scale" but Genshin exists almost as gachas best baseline for allowing players to play how they want. And I find that very amenable to the playerbase. 3 - I can't wait to see Maxor's next Genshin update video because he has an average of 2-3 new countries (in-game) per new video. Which means it has to be dropping somewhat significantly soon. Hope you react to it when it does. Thanks for your content!

After the daily change, i dont mind it. Now it's basically play hardcore one day a month. After that you can just coast spending 3 minutes a day. I usually just do it on my phone while cooking food at some point during the day.

The cubes are there to test your strength. Literally you cannot beat them without the elements. That's why I have always seen them as tests to see if the Genshin (Vision holders) are ready to face the Honkai, and most especially Herrschers. Answer: Given the relative weakness of the Archons, no they are not. Not even close.

_Genshin_ is already seeing some improvements, since the old producer, who also previously nearly ruined _Honkai Impact 3rd_ , got moved to another division, which has nothing to do with Mihoyo's games. Now Brother Dawei manages the Genshin Team himself. This is why we will now be able to choose main stat and 2 substats on artifacts, and why we now have a standard 5-star character selector. Every year, for the foreseeable future. It'll take awhile for _Genshin_ to get on the Honkai level, but it's a start.

I wish prop hunt mode was permanent. Or more frequent. It was fun trying to hide without actually turning into a prop. Absolutely hated the boat mini games though. And he made this before Fontaine came out. With Natlan soon to release. I suspect we'll be getting another one of these from Maxor sometime in the next 6-12 months. Also, yeah, it's a lot for new and returning players. But at least in the next version (5.0) they're giving you the option to skip right to Natlan's story as long as you've beaten Liyue. As for dailies, for the exact same reasons you described I personally kind of just ignore them. I just log in about twice a week to see if there are any events and to try maxing out that battlepass.

The funny thing is, yes the dailies give primos... but in reality, they don't give that much... if you are ok with skipping a few character, you can literally just play the game normally AS LONG as you do the EVENTS, because events carry 90% of the income

2:40 Yeah, Genshin players really forget how jittery the initial difficulty curve is. There were so many instances in my first 6 months or so of f2p-ing where I was getting soft-locked because you needed a specific combination of elemental reactions or some really good heals/shields to progress a particular side-quest and I couldn't level up my characters because the ascension boss materials I needed *were the things that I was soft-locked on*.

As an example, even until really recently, Forsaken Rift was a literally vertical difficulty spike for anyone training Mond characters because of the stamina debuff. Even post-nerf you basically _need_ multiple Pyro characters because *all* of those fuckers are Cryo shielded.

genshin is just one of those games that was made for people who already play a lot of similar games and as such needs a lot more intuition for what it does than other games might. also at the start it was just especially terrible about telling you how stuff worked (except the gacha parts) which partially led to the previously mentioned problem

_Genshin_ *is* Easy Mode. You can clear all story content with whatever team you want. But yes, everything has levels that you need to be effective. Want something a bit harder, try _Honkai Impact 3rd_ . Bosses come in up to SSS-difficulty, including Andrius. Hu Tao's rap is okay in KR, but best in CN or JP. EN is... they did not use the right flow, and sadly all it took was a fan edit to fix it. I'm 100% serious here. But because I use whatever language is most appropriate for a given region, I never heard it in EN until I saw someone else's video about the event. BTW the song he stuck in at the end is _MOON-Halo_ , and it's the song that plays during the _Honkai Impact 3rd_ animation _Everlasting Flames_ , which is at the end of one of Kiana's character arcs. There's some _major_ emotions attached to it.

Nahida + hydro character + electro character + healer/shielder = easy mode 98% of the open world. If you don’t have Nahida, you’ll get a free Dendro character through the main quest. Plus your traveler which can also be dendro. Dendro + electro is the bane of the oceanid.

I think people who struggle in Genshin don’t really need an easy mode, they just need the game to teach things better. Ain’t nobody reading all of that tutorial text they keep throwing at us, and you can’t really blame the players. If there’s any issue I have with Genshin in terms of game design it’s this. It hit me how bad it really is for players with less gaming experience when I saw someone who was AR 60(max level account) and didn’t know you can charged attack.

Yeah... Daily stuff are such a chore and feels like a padding content to me ngl, I've since then quit and i was one of the first people to play the game too, since released... Man i remember the expeditions literally any character you put there they will not be playable until the expeditions are done and the chest.. the items drop and bounced away even in domains... Recently people have been praising genshin now especially the gacha rate now it's 55/45... Even though HSR already had that since released and better rates too... Genshin nowadays feels... Outdated and inefficient ngl and it's nearing it's end of the story considering it's in natlan now

Fun fact, if you played before leway? leuway? Ok I’m not going to try. You could go to the border of the map and walk into the mountains before the mountains and that new area was released. I even have a pic on my PS4 where the traveler’s face is poking through the face of the mountain.

To be fair. The game has a big problem with hyperinflating parta of the story unnecessarily and often to its own detriment. Inazuma is probably one of the better archon quests, certainly better than Liyue simply because it didnt involve fifty hours of fetchquesting for nothing. Sumeru had length but also an idea of how to have a good story until the post credits with Scaradouche character quest which was unavoidable and killed that momentum with a brick wall. Luckily Fontaine is like flawless save for a few annoying ass daily quests that have way too much dialogue for a simplecten second quest, dragging it into three minutes of skipping text you e already read twenty times.

It's unfortunate that Genshin has such a bad reputation for unjustified reasons, any time people talk about it all you hear about it is either a pedo joke or something about the gacha which isn't something that the game isn't forcing you to care about or participate in. People never really talk about everything Genshin has to offer and it almost feels like people go out of their way to make Genshin look as bad as possible which only serves to keep people away who don't know any better. Not only is the gacha not mandatory but you also don't really NEED it to play the game, the people who complain about it are just lazy and want the best characters and the best weapons as quickly as possible so they can spent the least amount of time playing the game. I also stand by the opinion that if you're someone who has 0% self control and spend an insane amount of money on the game like Tectone did then that a you problem, the game didn't put a gun to your head and rob you blind. Some of these "Whales" should take some responsibility for their own choices and not blame the game just because it's a gacha. This has plenty to offer if people actually bothered to pay attention to it.

@@chelzorthedestroyer He's basically a #1 uncle when it comes to her. Sadly his best interaction with her came from a time limited event but he was an absolute sweetheart to her. Almost threw hands with two people arguing because they made Klee feel bad.

3:00 yeah I looked at Genshin for YEARS and finally pulled the trigger this summer over vacation. Installed it on my Steam Deck and got through the initial controller issues. Then I played it and it felt a little dated, and then I found out how many little things you have to manage and I think I've quit. I like Zenless Zone Zero more TBH which I installed at the same time. It's a much simpler but more fun game. It can get repetitive but unlike Genshin I don't get the feeling that if I don't play for a day I'm being horribly inefficient.
