I loved the music! And these gold-digger videos are always such fun. Can't get enough of Sean. And, wow, the underwater camera work. First, cameras have improved so much in their ability to focus over such wide distances so instantly, and that water was so clear it was like it wasn't there.

Where I used to live in Scotland, there was a place called the silver mines on the Ochil Hills. We used to go searching up there. Great video as always

I went to Dahlonega Georgia and panned for gold with my hubby on a weekend trip. It was fun! There were gemstones as well as the gold. I got some very large garnets and the gold. The one garnet is the size of a Chestnut. Uncut but with the flashlight you can see the beautiful burgundy. I all so got some topaz and sapphire rough.

My Dad wood have been proud of you with your backwoods engineering. I saw him whittle a piece of wood to fit a hole in the radiator of his dodge sedan. It held til he traded it in several years later. We call it hillbilly God it. Great vid So! Love your adventures!

My Grandad used to always say to us "away Doon (down) the burn (stream) and find some gold." We always laughed at him, maybe he knew what we didn't!! It made me feel homesick watching you go up 'home' to Scotland, not been back for six years, when my Mum passed away. Si, greetings from Alaska! You and your friends looking for gold. You need to be in the black sand, not the light sand. You can even find black sand and gold on the beach. Look for the black sand! Good luck!

Wondering if you shouldn't concentrate at the bottom of the short falls on the river or at the top of the rock faces where the rocks accumulate. Also on the outside edges where the river turns another direction. That is where they find gold on shows like gold rush.

We prospect for gold in the desert using a drywasher. You got some good size flakes and pickers. Dang he got some great gold. Wish we could find that much. Who knew Scotland had gold?

You need to be looking under the larger waterfall areas like the first guy did or natural ripples. That is where I have always found the most gold here in Colorado, USA.

Why not?.. There's plenty easily accessible burn's just over the border around Leadhill's, All you need is a pan ( about £15 ) a small spade and a sieve.
