What is the impact to your garage floor when using the spray and rinse hydro product? Is it slick?
@DetailingBreakdown2 жыл бұрын
I don’t notice anything different. Good question though.
@Jeeper13782 жыл бұрын
Its only slick on the car because it bonds to the paint. Its just normal soap on concrete.

Adding all these products does not negatively affect / clog the Gyeon ceramic coating? Does the coating reject them?
@DetailingBreakdown2 жыл бұрын
Nah, I’d be more concerned with wax products
@kennethchan68155 ай бұрын
can the hydro graphene ceramic be used as a stand alone application just like applying wax apart from after washing the car...?
@DetailingBreakdown5 ай бұрын
This parodies designed to be put on your wet vehicle after washing. I’ve played with other applications but stick to the directions. McKee’s has other products for what you’re asking and those will yield better results with their own application process.

As much rinseless washing as you do, those glacier drying towels must get super hydrophobic after a while. How do you deal with that?
@DetailingBreakdown2 жыл бұрын
I just wash them about every 2-3 uses or if I feel they are dirty. I use microfiber detergent and they stay working well. I have an all new set of them I haven’t opened because these keep going. They are the best!

@@DetailingBreakdown Glacier towels are very good. I use Rags to Riches microfiber detergent and I'll give them a long soak before washing, works well on all super hydrophobic and or dirty towels.

@@thomasdeluca754 I haven’t tried Rags 2 Riches yet. I’ve used Chem Guys, 3D Towel Kleen, Wolfgang MF Wash, and Poor Boys. Currently using the Jax Wax MF Wash on this last load.

@@DetailingBreakdown Rags to Riches is the BEST microfiber detergent on the market at the moment until someone else develops something better. I've used a LOT of different ones over the years including every single one of the ones you mention above and I thought the Rags to Riches might be just hype until I tried it. It does work better than the others, especially if you do a pre-soak. It is a very good microfiber rejuvenator wash for sure. Pre-soak isn't necessary if your towels are only lightly soiled and it works about the same as any other microfiber detergent. Where it really shines is when you do a good pre-soak and then wash your towels. It does seem to clean out the Sio2 or other products that tend to make towels hydrophobic. Every time I use my Polishangel products (which are so concentrated and use heavy dyes) Rags to Riches will strip that stuff out during the pre-soak. The pre-soak water is deep purple or whatever color the dye is in the Polishangel product and very slippery. When you complete your wash cycle and either hang dry (my preferred method) or machine dry, you can immediately tell the Rags to Riches did something other detergents just cannot do. Get some next time you need a microfiber detergent....you will LOVE IT!

@@joevanseeters2873 funny u say this. I’ve been trying to use up this terrible product called Grime Reaper from Chemical Guys I’ve had for years. I fill a bucket with water and toss in a few ounces. I soak towels that have film(Sio2, dirt, grease) in it. It takes dyes off, and makes them feel slimy. But then I wash the towels and they are new again. Kinda like how I said Rags to Riches works. I’ll have to check it out when I order more MF Wash. Thanks

Whats your opinion on the RW diluted as a detail spray compared to the regular stuff?
@DetailingBreakdown2 жыл бұрын
@@Jeeper1378 they make it better than I can but as a detail spray I don’t need anything special so I’d buy the RW.

How long do you think your front windshield last? Also your wheels? Just be carful with Graphene should wear gloves! Great vid!!

I’m not really sure what u mean by how long my windshield and wheels will last? Can u be more specific?
@whatmattersmost67252 жыл бұрын
@@DetailingBreakdown Sorry I am talking how long the product last on your Windshield & Rims? As it seams that with the wind resistance will remove or reduct how long a product can or will last, so how long are you thinking this product is lasting?
@DetailingBreakdown2 жыл бұрын
@@whatmattersmost6725 ohh, hydro should last a couple months on the windshield and then just spray again and rinse. That’s what makes it so easy to use. Wheels probably 1-2 months as they heat up and kill protection faster

Can the auto wash be used in a foam cannon?

Ya know, I keep circling back to graphene product. I think this year I’m going to try Adams graphene shampoo and graphene cs3. Just to see if I’m hip to that jive. You’ve been playing with different products and the waterless wash for awhile now. Do you think these products are bringing anything different to the table? Is graphene starting to separate itself in the detailing market?

I’m using the McKee’s graphene line on my vehicles. But for my tires using the Adams Graphene VRT. I plan to try the Kamikaze No 6 Kiwami Tire dressing this spring. I also like using Perl on tires. Just some suggestions. I did order the McKee’s Graphene tire dressing so will try that on wife’s car this spring. I started with the 303 touchless then went to the 303 Graphene but that is an application product. Products just seem to get better each year.

@@DetailingBreakdown I do both regular wash and rinse less. Regular if warm and very dirty. Rinse less when just need and able to knock out quickly. So far love the hydro wash. Funny part is I still have the large N-914 rinse less. So use that on the older cars. Love the ease of wash (either) then hydro spray. I also love the large glacier drying towel. Best I’ve ever used. Especially with my Tundra. Trucks are pain but glad have this spray and wash.

@@ECKSterminators oh ya, the Glacier towels are killer. My favorite towels by far! Hydro is good for that fast topper. Don’t sleep on the slickness of the graphene detailer either. I love that feel the next day.
