Cool stuff and legal even in mafia... I mean IBJJF rules. My preference is not to allow the opponent to touch my legs with their hands at all. Got my meniscus ripped once and there wasn't even any knee control in play.

People don't understand leg locks, move in ways they shouldn't and get their sh!t exploded. This is exactly why we need more leg lock content and why people need to watch this stuff.

@@SoulRollerFIN I mean ppl shouldn't be exploded in jiu jitsu at all it should be about strong pressure movements im 35 and try to not get injured lifting weights has helped again im not a fan of no gi much either

@@macaluso48 I'm older than that. Learned leg locks late in my journey, at early brown belt like 6 years ago. I always prefer back or mount over leg entanglements, but leg locks are really important aspect of jiu-jitsu. I don't teach my students to crank or use fast movements for the finish. Positional hierarchy, control points, escapes and only then the breaking mechanics and how to apply them as safely as possible.

@@SoulRollerFIN yeah just I'm trusting my body to other ppl I'm a blue collar working use my body tos support my family just can't get hurt like that but deff the right way to do it the way ur teaching my first jiu jitsu class was when it was more about self defense and vale tudo
