Star player is only based on kills and desths, so even if you carried your team with support, you might still not get star player. The meta will then shift a little to high damage brawlers

If getting star player will gain more trophies or lose less trophies then what's the point of doing in a team of 3. If one of them keep getting star star player then the other two will have more and more trophies behind him. So star player should not contribute in gaining or losing trophies.
