I hate how you keep judging a brawler's skill based on the gamemode they are typically played in. As someone with The Collector title, playing Colette on heist is braindead for sure; but pushing her on literally any other mode is WAY higher skill cap. Same with chuck, you say he's no skill because "just play him on heist and spam super" but again, that's just ONE GAMEMODE. Put him in something like brawl ball, and you actually have to be smart with your posts, where you put them, using the knockback to save and score goals. Judging brawlers based on the gamemode they are the best in is terrible for judging the potential the brawler has because there is no room for skill expression, you just win. You have to base their potential on every gamemode because its the gamemodes they are bad in where skill actually shines, since it is actually required to win.

Yes, but he's judging them in all the gamemodes and maps the brawlers make sense in. For example, the C tier brawlers are only playable in certain maps and modes. You're not gonna play mortis in heist or Angelo on snake prairie. He mentions countless times how a brawler would play as a gem carry, mid-lane, on hot zone, on belle's rock, in heist, in showdown, and he shows clips in brawl ball as well.

With that said, a lot of other s tier heist brawlers should be considered less skillful using that logic. Colt, colette, various throwers, etc. would automatically be considered non-skilled automatically if you were to only consider hitting a sitting target.

Chuck can do a lot of things: 1. Push Enemies with super. 2. Cancel Supers and gadgets. (Obs: Its hard and you need to know exactly the time thats not obviously. 3. Can dodge. 4. Can save allies being a Shield. 5. Counter Brawlers Stealing Ammo. 6. Using a cicle for dash + gadget + super = goal in brawl ball. (Obs: All that need a plan for the future and the positioning can be not that clear, sometimes just put flags in the mid is really bad and most part of the people dont know how to use gadget) 7. Tired of list, but have a lot more things... I play a lot with chuck and start play this game in the beta with VPN in 2017, this list is dumb, sorry for that, Snake is only using personal parameters and being close mind for a lot of possibilities and potencial

Early potential (how difficult it is to become decent). 3. Aiming (how difficult to hit). 4. Game sensitivity (how difficult to adapt to different situations). 5. Super dependency (how much super does for a player, e. g. brawlers like Jessie or Bo would have 1/5 in the category). 6. Specialty (how difficult to master a special mechanic a brawler has, e. g. dyna jumps). 7. Attack range (more difficult to play if you have shorter range, isn’t it?).

Dude is a W, usually characters are rated as follows: for example 8-Bit slow, lots of damage, lots of health = Easy, Medium character. Although if you take into account that because of his speed he is very limited in mobility, because of his speed is not possible to chase enemies or escape from them, because of his speed to hit experienced opponents is very difficult, he is very much tied to his station, and you can still because of his speed, attack mechanics to come up with 101 minuses and in the end it turns out it is not just a fighter who is slow but he has a lot of health and damage.

I respect your opinion on piper, at first it seems like it needs skill, but when you take a look at her a little deeper, you notice that she has almost no counters, like, she has insane damage, even from a close range, she counters everyone, every other long range brawler cand be countered, they usually have one tool to defend themselves from close distance, but piper has 3, she can even take down tanks by jumping on them with that stupid gadget that you just click and send your opponent to the moon, she has 5 ammo (with the gadget) because her pushing gadget works with her reloading star power, so yes, she is the best sniper at long ranges, she takes down every snipers, and even at close range, nobody can stop her, you can just get within autoaim range and it is free kills Aven if an edgar, a shelly or an el primo jumps at you, you have either your gadget, your super or your hc to destroy them With hc she can literally jump on a shelly and get a free kill So i would definitely rank her at no skill, it is not even hard to hit at long range because of her bullet speed

Also I think there's some mistakes in my opinion: 1st - Bibi literally is faster Jacky with half of attack circle + bubble, so it's not above average skill, when you can just rush into someone almost without dodging 2nd - Amber most of the time uses her autoaim, kites opponents, shreds opponents with gadget and rarely uses manual aim, so she is also not above Average 3rd - Piper, Bea and Surge shouldn't be in High skill, because Bea can easily hit enemies with wide and fast reloading attack + easy kill super, so she is Average; Piper can literally nuke from distance or just rapidly 4-shot you in midrange, good super + no skill gadget, also Average; and Surge... you can just press shield gadget, and jump on opponent's head anytime you want, becoming real threat after 2 supers (after 1 for melee brawlers), after that you can just autoaim, definitely Easy to master rank 4th - Mr.P and Hank pretty much Average, because they both can be easily shredded if their matchup is not good. @@swuini you're really asking how? You probably think that in low trophies ash's performance is the same with high. It's invalid. His super most of the time is more than likely to get destroyed without a problem so you need much more skill to use it differently. In everything but range he's outshined by bibi. You need to handle rage with chill pill so you get maximum damage and heal at the same time while using super for backup and catching people off guard. Ash also is a slower tank than others with a bug hitbox so moving with him is also important. You rarely get more than one brawler hit with his attack at high trophies and If people know that ash exists, they will have no hard time playing against him. The only no skill ash is low trophies full aggressive mode, ash with healing comp and ash who only slams autoaim. He also needs a lot of aiming to get some perfect wall hits and maybe get more than one entity with your attack. You also need to count your rage before you attack somebody face to face so he hits you and then with your next hit deal more damage than before. With ash you also need to sacrifice a lot, whether that is your super, your hp, your rage, your ammo. Can you do all that with bibi?

This is true that both have relatively the same range for the main attack but for damage I’m not so sure. Since the damage will only be the same if ash gets his rage bar up. But with his normal attack it’s not the same so I get why ash should be higher than Bibi. But the thing is Ash’s super u can’t use it differently it doesn’t change the fact whether you place it far or near it will still get destroyed. There is no other way to use it differently as ash super only targets enemies. While Bibi’s super you are able to use it differently when there are walls on certain maps just like Rico’s bounce which is why on that aspect SnakeThug ranked Bibi higher than Ash. Both are basically no skill but Bibi should be higher in my opinion.

It is not bad in principle, but there are a lot of flaws in the video in my opinion. For example: Miko is not skill brawler, u can easy kill most of brawlers by just auto aiming and using ur broken starpower, or run away quickly through walls (all plays Miko on closed maps), the main thing is to hit with all attacks. EL primo is minimum average skill, because there are combination with atacks, super and gadget, that allows u do a good job, also he has short, narrow and long-time atack with which you can miss even close to an opponent. Buzz is maximum average skill, especially with wide zone super charge starpower,all u have to do is hit him super in enemies.

also i disagree with playsment Chuck and Tick. They both require understanding the gameplay for them, because Chuck needs to place the stations correctly and activate super in right timing (we are talking not only about heigst, i saw a lot of crazy gameplays video with Chuck) and for Tick u must play savely, he is very vulnerable to assassins and weak in 1v1, he requires a good team support and know his right location on the map.

Chuck? No skill? In heist and showdown - i COMPLETELY agree, everywhere else - he's the hardest brawler in the GAME. He is literally the ONLY brawler that REQUIRES making a strategy BEFORE you enter the match and actually viewing and analysing maps to make a good use of your track and if you're speaking about potential of brawlers - carry the entire game by yourself and not be the 0/13 bad random. He is the only brawler that REQUIRES playing mind games with your enemies, because chuck is the only brawler that can be ambushed by literally anyone, so predicting and countering these ambushes, and even more - MANIPULATING your enemies to group up and stand near your last pole, using yourself as a bait for your teammates to catch them off-guard and get a teamwipe because the enemies were so focused on waiting for you to super for them to kill you. He is the only brawler that actually needs above average IQ to even be played, not even talking on what it takes to master him. He is the brawler that gets the MOST punishment for being out of position. Literally EVERY SINGLE THING about chuck requires skill and deep understanding of the game - both his gadgets require skill and (again if we're talking about potential) high IQ to pull unexpected clutch plays, both his starpowers require skill - first is playing with poles and second is optimising all your setups to 3 poles, his attack is hard to hit, his poles' knockback which makes you be able to counter assassins and push your enemies into your own attacks requires INSANE skill because his poles fly very slow, his dash which can be used to tank, bait and evade damage requires insane reaction speed which is skillful, aaand you also need to avoid being ambushed while supering OR make a pole setup where you can't be ambushed (which starts and ends outside of enemies' reach) which requires being highly intelligent and being able to predict flow of the entire match just by looking at the map and enemy comp. And on higher trophies you need to rebuild your tracks CONSTANTLY and as fast as possible to outsmart and catch your enemies off-guard, all this while staying alive and maintaining your pressure. Tell me how is chuck not the hardest brawler in the game. As a proud wipeout rank 31 (pushed entirely with randoms in wipeout) chuck main who has 106k mastery points on him i feel DEEPLY offended. Just because of this fact this is an L video for all 6 non-heist chuck mains in the world. I suggest you to try playing chuck on 1000+ outside of heist and not uninstalling the game from your first time being ambushed. Have a good day.

I mean, even if a brawler doesn’t require that much skill, it doesn’t mean that you cannot do anything with it, rather than the regular plays you see. For example, as a Darryl main, I have made like 1v3 in knockout against counters. So yeah, if you are an Edgar main, there’s a 0.01% chance that you are actually skilled :)

The fact it's sometimes more valuable to let an enemy with 1k hp live and hit another enemy with more hp instead (due to the % dmg) already makes her hard enough. Not to mention chaining her supers, aiming and positioning. And also using her gadgets..

Low trophies is easy to play amber but in high trophies you need to play good plays it’s hard to play against Edgar’s and fangs and if you run out of ammo you are very weak and he’s ranking the brawlers for their potential

What I like about snakethug’s tier list is that it talks about a brawler’s highest skill potential rather than just picking up the brawler and calling it a day. Normally people would call Barely high skill but snakethug actually does know the difference between a skilled brawler and a weak brawler and vice versa (the difference between a powerful brawler and a no skill brawler)

I really hate how he put Edgar at no skill because he didnt want to get hate for it. Being an edgar hater myself, I notice how everyone in high elo showdown focuses edgars so their lives are hard there 😅. But seriously i think snakethug should stick to his own opinions no matter what because hes gonna get hate for a tier list regardless, but thats just other people's opinions. Example, Edgar is hard to play in showdown because most players in the lobby target him,but if you just look at Edgar’s kit, Edgar is easy as heck to master. You press a gadget, and jump on someone. You also have to know how to dodge and psych people out but that’s pretty much it with him.

This is so facts him saying melodie is no skill hurt my soul. Also he literally said how she requires skill in the video he said "You need to stay at the correct distance and known when her notes disappear" literally the reason she takes skill, I agree she has a low skill floor(doesn't take much skill to play) but she had a high skill ceiling(needs alot of time and effort to master her). Also just wanna quickly mention more reasons why she needs skill: low damage main attack, relies on chip damage, reliant on positioning to deal damage with notes, since her hp nerf she is much squishier so you need to think more before going in there is many more. smth ppl should be aware of, is that many ppl talk about skill floor when saying a brawler is skill or no skill. Skill floor is how easy a brawler is to pick up and play decently with. Snake talks alot about skill ceiling, which is how strong and hard a character is to fully master like completely. Another important thing to consider is that Snake talks about his experience, which is packed with good players. Playing decently with amber on 700-800 trophies is not the same as playing her on 1000+ or in masters.

I just copy paste my answer of another comment here: I know I know we've seen Ambers autoaiming until they are out of ammo all the time, but keep in mind: I'm ranking the POTENTIAL and I believe that good aim on Amber in combination with movement makes this brawler so much better. Also controlling your oil, gadget, closing lanes, poking etc.

As a sprout main, seeing finally somebody that recognize the potential is heartwarming. The ability to put a wall can be game changing or fuckup your entire team in a scenario. ok you gave us a skill tier list based on showdown, so many brawlers like leon are actually difficult to play in 3v3 p.s: ALL the tanks are quite difficult to use in competitive and high trophies matches. having a god mobility with a tank isn’t no skill at all. this tier list works only for ranks 25 and below
