More inclement weather conditions for Western Cape

The South African Weather Service has warned of further bad weather expected in the Western Cape from Tuesday, 16 July 2024.
Strong winds and damaging waves are also predicted for the coastal areas up to Plettenberg Bay on the southeast coast.
Cooperative Governance Minister, Velenkosini Hlabisa, is meanwhile expected to visit areas today that have been affected by the extreme weather conditions in the Western Cape.
The visit comes as the provincial Government has approached the National Disaster Management Centre for a provincial disaster classification.
