This kit was so easy to install on my 1026R...Fits perfectly and looks like it came with the tractor...and HydrosPlus has the flow adjustable so if it is too fast for you it can be turned down. Gets me multiple functions on the BH and FEL.
@robertbunch83623 жыл бұрын
I have added this HydrosPlus assembly using the higher capacity pump (9gpm). I also have the Summit four-spool remote hydraulics kit. Lastly, I did the tweak to my pressure valve to increase it to 2100psi. All of these changes sure make this little tractor (2018 1025r) from a pee-wee into Goliath. A LOT more lift on the front loader and backhoe, plus the extra flow available allows you to use multiple control spools at the same time. I even had my wife operate the front loader while I played with the backhoe controls and all four spools on the backhoe still functioned at the same time as the two spools on the loader. Amazing stuff considering how puny these things are from the factory! This new larger capacity pump and new adjustable splitter valve really do give these little machines a whole new personality. Ad Kevin gives such great support for his product! Something else to consider is just how much ballast weight all of this adds to the rear of the tractor. When I also added a hydraulic top link, hydraulic tipping link, flow control valves and hoses, it has added 143lbs so far. About $2600 so far, but I believe my little machine is about as versatile as any much bigger tractor now. Warranty be damned!

I installed Deere’s factory 3rd function and I would say that was 10x MORE difficult than the Hydrosplus install. And Kevin supplies high quality components with most hydraulic fittings being o-ring face seals. When I started my tractor up after the install, there were no leaks. It’s a completely different tractor; in a good way! I highly recommend this kit!

Tim, please don't be one of those people that uses the blanket statement of "It'll void your warranty." For an OEM to be able to refuse warranty work, they have to be able to prove that any modifications you made directly contributed to said failure, and it's on them to provide reasonable evidence. Secondly, an OEM can not deny warranty work if the failure is unrelated. Ie, they couldn't deny replacing a defective throttle linkage simply because you swapped out a hydraulic pump. Sorry to rant, but this is a pet peeve of mine whenever someone says "It'll void your warranty." when in reality what they actually should say is something such as, "This may allow the OEM to void this specific portion of your warranty, if they can provide evidence that your modification directly resulted in the failure that you're trying to have them fix on their dime." As always though, love the videos! (And for full transparency, I'm not big on warranties anyway. Lol) 🚜🚜🚜

Very nice! Thanks Tim! I had a BX with the plastic fan on the input shaft. When working it hard the transmission case would get so hot you could barely touch it. When doing comparable work with the 1025R, the transmission case gets warm but never hot. Not very scientific but from my experience the Deere hydraulic system runs much lower temperature when doing the same job. It is a more efficient way to control oil temperature. I seriously doubt this system will cause any overheating issues. Great design! I agree with others. Bet we see this improvement on the next 1025R.

Very nifty stuff. Faster and smoother with the implements and now the "most loved" implement of all (PTO post hole digger) could maybe become a hydraulic and reversible auger so you can get it out of what you got it into. You just have to pay attention to the flow requirements of hydraulic augers as what I have seen this is on the minimum end of what they want. Maybe the optional big volume pump would cover that. Hope you get a chance to try these out at length.

@TractorTimewithTim3 жыл бұрын
Easy to say that. However, a machine without such 'limited' hydraulics is a skid steer. These are $60k+. So, I believe the compromise is excellent. We can get a LOT of function for less than $20k. Oh, and we can do 2 functions at once...just not smoothly and predictably.

@johngallucci772 ай бұрын
It absolutely can, but even so, Kevin has an awesome solution called the Hydrosplus Cooler+ that keeps the hydraulic fluid nice and cool no matter how hard you run it. The Cooler+ absolutely dwarfs the stock cooler and makes it look like a toy in contrast.

Very impressive for sure! This guy just found his retirement! Lol A small electric fan mounted in front of the cooler (if there is room) may help control heat.
@williamgaines97843 жыл бұрын
A larger cooler, if there is room under the hood, would be a more reliable solution than an additional fan. The temp. increase may not be enough to require any extra cooling. More heat is likely generated in the transmission and steering, which all run from the same sump, when pulling implements/loads up and down hills than from using the loader and 3rd function when at stop or near stop. Also, not sure how he did his testing or what the actual temp increase was/is.
@lcee65923 жыл бұрын
@@williamgaines9784 true a larger cooler provides more surface area to radiate the heat but it is a a more evasive solution than a temp controlled fan. A fan is much less likely to void warranty than replacing the entire cooler. One could possibly add an additional cooler providing the original lines are not butchered in order to make it work.
