I wish Solectrac would make a diesel version too to see what sold more then after that build what the people want. If there’s a middle ground build both then later on build a hybrid tractor that’s both electric and diesel. I see no one building one. I hope Kioti isn’t building an electric tractor. If they do they may regret it. I myself love Kioti products but I’d over look the electric tractor and go for a tried and true diesel

CLICKBAIT Title. Thought it was going to be Tim Allen as "Toolman Taylor" as "Binford" was the made-up name of the tools on "Tool Time". 😡👎 Told youtube to not recommend your channel.

Looks to me like it works pretty well. …of course I had the drawbar set too close to the PTO…but, once resolved, it works well.

I have the WC68 from Woodland Mills. I love it. I have had it for a couple of years and it is a joy to run. I have a tractor with 27 hp at the pto and I can't think of anything I've been able to fit into the chute that it wouldn't chip. The price point of the WC68 at $2999 made it much more practical to purchase. Anything larger than 3-4" in diameter in my mind is firewood. I'm not chipping 6" logs. Even though the Woodland Mills was built in China it was flawless when I received it. I bought it during the crazy supply chain shortage and it still got to me in two weeks.

"We got at least three more tractors we can bust." That's the spirit! I till deep ('21 1025R) as soon as the ground is dry enough and then shallow before I plant because I don't have a disc. Had a HD sub-soiler and a two-bottom plow with my '56 Ford 640 that prepped the gardens initially. Only three Hp more than the 1025R . . . but they were three BIG Hp! I had to cut 4" off my sub-soiler vertical pillar to allow the 1025R to have ground clearance and not just use it as a ground anchor.

Nice review! I bought a few years ago a Woodland Mills 8" chipper and coupled it to a JD 2750 which I believe has around 75 hp pto. I have chipped many trees and branches and it works very well. The chipper has a lower shut-off bar which I've unintentionally and intentionally pushed, I like the position because I can access the bar with hand, arm and knee which I've done because of gloves getting caught amongst thorns, apple tree branching and wild plum branches. You have a nice path of low lying material which would be almost a pleasure to chip! Thank You!

Get a power broom. Great for powder, wet snow removal. I use my broom for snow removal more than the blower. I also use mine to dethatch my lawn, broom gravel out of ditches.

I would like to see you using auto steer on a compact tractor. I watch other farming channels where the large tractors are running almost autonomously planting in the field. It would be interesting to see how a compact tractor system compares.
Great suggestion. Way less annoying storage now for when I put the 260 on.

Not just the quick attach but the optional Load-N-Go feature is terrific. Makes it easy to store the deck vertically and indoors (with an after-market dolly). Handy for us old farts.
@TractorTimewithTim20 сағат бұрын
Yep. And one more accessory…the heavyhitch.com deck stand completes the kit. All together, this is incredibly easy to handle and store!

Every dealer will try to tell you their product is the best because ABC reasons..but I've found the best tractor for me is one that fits my needs and operation the best. I've owned Massey, NH, and deere. I've had no regrets with either and any one was no better than the other.

Hey Tim, I am trying out a 2019 2025R. You mentioned that the mower deck is independent. I am having an issue that I can't lower the mower mechanism low enough because I have a tiller installed on the 3 pt hitch. So the mower bracket is not totally independent. Do you think it is just an issue with adjusting the height of the tiller?
@TractorTimewithTim2 күн бұрын
No, you must remove any 3 point hitch attachment when mowing, as the 3 pt arms will go down when you lower the mower.

Coming off a '56 Ford 640 that I had owned for 17 years. I looked at New Holland 25S, several Kubotas . . . and went with a JD 1025R. Smaller and lighter bucket lifting more weight. OK. But larger loads and less trips with a 53" bucket? OK as well. I don't need to fill high trucks. I need to move loads at ground level. Except with pallet forks. Then lift and load rules.

Even better! A rechargeable battery pack electric grease gun! An old gas station might have a gun that you hook up to air pressure, but you have to be near an air drop to use it. Oh, I forgot, those needle greasers also have a special zerk that makes it easier to use.
