@@CarolynJRobertsArtist doing as best we can…it’s just so hard to accept he is gone….trying to attend to estate affairs and get this in the rear view mirror. I haven’t been able to get in the studio. I did once and just flaffed ed about, as you say. I have the desire to paint but just not the energy…and here we are with USA Thanksgiving coming upon us and it’s just my husband and I to celebrate. Planning on going up to the lake next week and hide from the festivities. We will have a simple but traditional holiday meal. I’m so sad … Hope you and yours are doing well!

@@swl9270 Sending you big hugs. I know when Mum passed 3 yrs ago and her funeral was literally the week before Christmas, the last thing we felt like doing was joining in all the festivities. Going to the lake, taking some time, sounds like a plan...xx

Love the marks you made by swiping with the card. Will you add more layers or do you consider it finished? Thanks for sharing. 😍

Thank you Trina! This is just an experimental piece - trying out some Golden High Flow ink along with the Daler Rowney acrylic ink - so I might add some more layers, just to see!! All good fun! Carolyn

Really cool! Why did you choose the lining wallpaper instead of other paper? Is this what you like to use for these paintings?

Thank you! This is just an experiment to see how to create the soft washes - the lining paper is a cheap alternative for experimental work. Carolyn
